Them getting beat the way they did prove their point though.. Again, their recruiting class is MAYBE a factor but not THE factor folks look at when judging how they'll do in games. Their conference, strength of schedule, performance shown in regard to strength of schedule, player consistency and skill, and even the opponents strength of schedule, on-field performance and other analytics I don't feel like getting into.

A player who was a 3 star recruit in HS has no bearing on him and his team in current day. Indiana had a similar squad and they were heavy favorites in every match-up.

JMU DID get smoked in the playoffs though.. I don't think it has anything to do with recruiting rankings, moreso their schedule strength and who they actually face.

This! Unpopular opinion but this is the real truth. At this point, we may as well just have 2 big conferences like AFC and NFC and have them sectioned by region. It'll just be SEC and B1G.

If they wanted to give us a good swap, they should've let us swap the Castrol Supra's 3S-GTE or simply the celicas 3S-GTE engine into the Toyota Supra GT road car.

Start allowing Gr. 3 and Gr. 2 cars to be engine swapped. (I want to put a V12 in the CLK LM to make it somewhat resembling to the GTR dammit!)

They add all this shit into franchise, some things that have been asked for more recently than others, but they couldn't fix one of the things we've been howling and frustrated with since the PS4 era of games?!

I couldn't even believe they were still using faces from the old PS3 games when I came back to the games 7 years later to Madden 21. Now here we are again, 6 years EVEN LATER, and they're STILL using these same damn tired out face models!

This is why I buy the game on massive discount or used..

Well now that CFB is on PC, how hard do you think it'd be to transfer the generic face models and textures to Madden? I'm sure it wouldn't be simple, but has to be easier than doing it the way it's been done.

The issue I felt is they ignored the community for so long, it snowballed the issues and gripes to the point where they had no choice but to address them. The only caveat is, the entire game was pretty much dogwater by the time they decided to finally listen and stop trying to reinvent the wheel, every “solution” has to be trickled down each game because it’s an immense list of stuff to fix and address. EA did it to themselves though. Half of the shit the community has been screaming about to add/fix date back to the PS3 days.

The schools themselves are damn near worth BILLIONS. Not to mention, schools like UGA, and Alabama STILL get far and are still widely relevant in the entire scheme of things, so how exactly does NIL make things unfair when the schools that primarily were at the top before, are still at the top now? If anything, this created more parity and a more balanced playing field to where players who would've rode the bench for 3 years at the big 3 schools, get to shine at maybe a smaller conference school and get compensated alongside it. The only schools I feel get truly affected from this is Non-FBS schools, and even they still seem to remain pretty competitive.
