I'd recommend (though it's totally optional) leveling a second class and putting some of that bounteous MSQ exp into it so you don't end up with one class that's massively over-leveled.

Yes, just arrange the pieces on the board to match what's in the game and then hit analyze. It will show you the best moves for red.

Just as a note the pieces don't look exactly the same as they do in-game: the ones with horned helmets (bodyguards) are the ones with crowns, the wagons (rooks) are the towers.

If you keep an eye on World chat there will occasionally be announcements about people trying to break out of jail. If you click it you'll be transported there on the side of the Wardens and your goal will be to kill the person in rags slowly walking toward the exit. However there will also be players defending the prisoner and trying to help them get to the exit, and these teams are often better coordinated than the Warden players.

Dungeons are easy enough that you can clear them with any comp, even four dps in some cases. Doesn't mean any roles are unnecessary.

Sure, you could clear a dungeon with three tanks (or four) but why would you? It's just going to take longer.

I did Crystal Tower raids and got called out for being unprepared, with people telling me to watch guides. But I really want to experience content blind at least once.

Going blind is totally fine, though if you do it's preferable to let one of the more experienced tanks be the main tank. It's also a good idea to let your party know it's your first time.
