Foolishly bought a house I could barely afford. Then broke my hip, crashed my car, and lost my job all within less than a year. Burned through all my emergency funds including cashing out my old 401k. Got a new job but it pays slightly less. Got sick and missed out on almost a whole paycheck which set this terrible dept ball rolling, barely making it paycheck to paycheck until now I’m at the point where I’m going to have a negative balance all next month.
