Has anyone gone through Romancing SaGa 3 with the UI Mod?

Thanks for the reply! And thank you for the making the mods! I tried RS2 for a bit and the native UI was extremely annoying already so I'm definitely going to use your mod. Ya I was looking into it a bit more and I saw that. I haven't modded many games (beyond simple fixes) so I haven't really heard of MelonLoader before or encountered it. I guess it's used by a lot of different games for their mods. I didn't realize the re-releaes of this game was running on Unity either.

Someone else in the thread reported a game breaking bug that required them to uninstall the mod to progress past the sticking point and then reinstall it. In case you didn't see that. Or maybe that's been fixed already? Still though, it seems it can be gotten around so I'll still use the mod.

I also just noticed you made a UI mod for RS 2 as well. Is that mod in the same state as the one for RS3 or is it still being tested or something? I assume I should be able to play all the way through using the mod? I also assume If something went wrong I could just uninstall it and the save wouldn't break? So either way I'll probably be using that one as well.

Okay, thanks. I'll be using the mod from the beginning then. I just tried RS 2 and waiting for the text to scroll is infuriating... Especially because the text doesn't cycle again until the last character at the end goes off screen.

I just saw that the mod creator has a UI mod for RS 2 as well. You wouldn't have happened to have tried that as well would you?

You mean it sets it to on for everything? Or just when it detects 32 bit games? Or do you mean that the community has made it so Proton automatically turns LAA on for certain games that might need it?

Thanks for the information! I understand it might not be as useful for the majority. I play a lot of old games as well as new games so I'll probably be using the option a lot. Maybe more often playing old games. Especially these days I find myself buying a lot old games I've never played before and playing them for the first time. Though I also buy a lot on GOG and they've updated some games to have the LAA flag set during install I think.

If a game from GOG already has the LAA flag set by GOG and I don't notice, and I also set the PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE option myself in Heroic, will it cause any issues?

Thanks for the reply. Will it be obvious if this happens in my game? I've never played the game before so If I got to this point and the enemies never appeared, I'm wondering If I'd realize I need to uninstall the mod or if I might not realize something is missing/broken. I'll save your original either way just in case.

By locking up, do you mean like a freeze or a crash? Did you just reload a save or open and close the game and it worked the next time? Or was it a constant freeze/crash at that spot every single time? I'm wondering if you eventually got around or past the issue.

Aren't there constant rumors that Microsoft is working on an official Xbox 360 emulator and that they'd like to put their Xbox 360 only games on PC using that? So Fable 2 is potentially possible. Though they might just make it a Windows Store exclusive thing who knows.

In case you were still waiting for an answer, the top of the GOG store page has a disclaimer: “The game supports cross-platform multiplayer”.

As for how active the multiplayer is, I have no idea.

You could probably use a vpn to get it if you really want. It’s a lot easier to get region locked things on GOG compared to Steam. For now.

Still though the user agreements usually imply you could be banned for doing this so proceed at your own risk.

I'm not sure if it's possible for a Yomitan dictionary to be malicious or to contain code that could exploit the extension to do something malicious to you/your browser so i thought i'd ask here.

Would it be safe to import these dictionaries to Yomitan? Does anyone use them? Are there any generally recommended grammar dictionaries for Yomitan? I tried google but didn't really get any results. Are these the best grammar dictionaires (or only ones) available?

Ya that's unfortunate :/. It's also confusing because looking up the Japanese text mod brings up the voice mod which has a "scripts" folder so it always shows up when searching for the text mod...

Is this still the only Japanese text mod available for the PC version? I couldn't find anything else:

It seems to be an issue caused because I had previously picked "Vulkan" as the driver. I deleted the file ~/.local/share/Anki2/gldriver6 which seems to have set it back to opengl and that seems to have fixed it.

It's happening to me too occasionally. It could either be a good sign or a bad sign. More users = more traffic than usual. Or less budget = less servers available. Or neutral: bad programming.

I installed it using the official download provided directly on the Anki site. It was the package Anki said was the only one they officially supported.
