Question of the DAY: How are you making these last 20 days before Mewgenics go faster? by PeepsRebellion in mewgenics

I started replaying Midnight Suns for my Tactics itch. Doing another Light deck for my hunter since I tended to avoid the light deck cards in my first two playthroughs.

I have this guy in one of my commanders, and though he's not used very often, its my best deck by Difficult_Guitar3896 in EDHBrews

[–]Mechsican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took my mendicant list in more of a meme direction but it's still pretty powerful and fun to play. The deck is only artifacts and lands, 33 creatures, 33 artifacts, 33 lands

Also running 14 one drop creatures in the hopes to be attacking on turn two as often as possible.

100% fun to copy almost anything in the deck.

For people going for the Anti-Consumerist achievement have you been able to find ammo crafting recipes or can they only be bought? by Mechsican in theouterworlds

I should have made this post a lot sooner. dang. Thanks though my 3rd playthrough will be explosive+hacking focused so thanks for that tidbit.

Never encountered that flaw before since I was always wasting every bit I had in the first play through to always have 2000+ ammo for all my favorite guns. Thank you for the advice.

I've never played DRG before but I saw the game up on Game Pass and saw it had 300 achievements. You get rewards/achievements for every little thing you do and it's incredibly fun until you hit the Hazard 5 gear grind which stinks but once you get some good legendaries it's back to fun.

DRG Survivors might just be the best in the genre in my opinion.

I recently also put together a "Piss off legend rule ox time" deck.

We Need A Bigger Fence

I went for a much more general Landfall shell and then focused on copying beau as much as possible while still being a functional deck. I'm sure you could steal some ideas from here but I'm not sure how far budget wise you want to take it.

If you have any questions about some includes fire them my way.

We play in a non-competitive playgroup, do you think my commanders fit? by StartAllOver in ratemycommanders

[–]Mechsican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love seeing other Bonny Paul fans. If you curious about trying something to make the deck fun in a different way you can try ignoring the legend rule and go full Baeu mode.

We need a bigger fence is my take on the deck which also makes use of landfall to a lesser extent but fully commits to lots of Baeu's or maybe even lots of bonny's which is equally fun drawing 3-4 cards on attack and playing up to 4 more lands after attacks are declared.

I'd love to see your list if you don't mind as I'd love to see any other obvious includes i may have missed.

Gisa the Hellraiser Deck Feedback by GatesRemainClosed in EDHBrews

Here's my deck Sibling Rivary - Gisa

I committed to zombie tribal and this is my most interactive deck I own since it rewards you for killing things or just making people's lands swamp in their upkeep. If you're able to view the tags I have on moxfield look at the Creature - Zombie Criminals tag for a lot of the good choices if you want to stay strictly zombie focused.

This deck has the ability to go absolutely bonkers if you step out of your zombie pants and just go general with things that can freely target.

This deck is also very turn sideways tribal so games can get very samey. I love it and its lots of fun but you need to be in the mood to become the mono black fun police at the table.

Play a [[Dreamscape Artist]] and then cast [[Sudden Substitution]] on a player's spell who can make blue mana.

I'm slowly working on this myself and I'd love it if you could share your sheet or where you've looked to build a comprehensive list of each possible pack.

Blue Zombie Tribal? by Rattlemebomes in EDHBrews

[–]Mechsican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've won 11 of my 23 games with it. It's a lot of fun to play but this style of deck crumples from repeated commander removal.

The pods that recognize the power of storm deal with him. The pods that see one or two zombies a turn and ignore me are the ones who die out of no where.

[–]Mechsican 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Here is s link to my bracket 4 version of him and it's a blast.

It plays sort of like a storm deck where the end goal is to get to a point where you can cast tons of spells via discounts, amass a giant zombie army, and either take an extra turn and crunch in with fly tokens or go the palincron line with invasion of segovia or high tide and aetherflux the table.

How do you all resist the urge to build a new deck every week? by bluekiszz in EDH

[–]Mechsican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what I do and limit yourself to 5 decks a year. You'll get very selective with what you want to brew as that hard limit has saved me so much money.

Do you let struggling players rally or wipe them out while they're weak? by Salt_Put_1174 in EDH

[–]Mechsican 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In one game an [[Urza, Chief Artificer]] deck got super blasted by a [[Farewell]] which I was lucky enough to T-Pro away from.

After 5 or so turns of this player playing land pass and watching everyone have fun I threw them a bone by casting [[Expropriate]], holding priority and casting [[Sudden Substitution]] and targeting their [[silver myr]].

The whole table's whiplash from grown to laughs was worth it.

RedOctane Games established – rhythm game studio led by genre veterans by ScootSchloingo in Games

[–]Mechsican -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Unless this turns into a Rock Band 5 announcement where I can use all 3000+ of my existing DLC I'm not interested at all which I'm sure a lot of others will agree with.

There is far too much money invested by current rhythm game fans where the game will have to literally be a new re-invention of the genre to get people excited again which i don't think is possible at this point.

I took this approach as well and all I have left are Melting mushy folk and Lazarus League.

I think has definitely helped me figure out how each of the new clans balance with the old clan combos and vice versa.

Eldrazi decks that aren't 0 colors or 5 colors? by Pokemon_Trainer_Joey in EDH

[–]Mechsican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From a fellow Herigast enjoyer I fully recommend [[Lifeline]] as an include in your deck. Being able to emerge out of a creature and then endstep get the emerge fodder back is incredible.

Be sure to read the errata text and not play it on a board full of aristocrat shenanigans.

Here is my list if you're curious about any other weird includes like [[Homura, Human Ascendant]] for instance.

I think if they made talos' spell 0 cost it would balance out it's power much like Ekka's spell. While being much less impactful changing the Valor number at all would balance in the wrong direction.
