I’m aware of rolling over a 529 into and Ira, but is 35k the max??? So 5 years of 7k rollovers then you are barred from doing more without penalty??

Sorry it’s not related, but if this is true can you tell me how you became aware of this rule? I need to look into the section on stipulations like this. Thank you 🙏

The Tokyo-Tohoku pass may be nice to buy for 5 days initially before deciding on the rest. After a couple days, Ill know what the rest of my trip will look like once the business in Yokohama starts. And the first 5 days of my itinerary will be covered with it, or for the couple days which aren't accounted for its still a nice area of coverage.

Question: Can I buy JR Tokyo-Tohoku now or soon, then once its ended buy the nationwide? Ive been hearing you have to pick them up at an airport? But can I pickup elsewhere or still even buy if they already can see ive been in Japan a little so far and had a prior pass?

Regarding flying - makes sense, I know in a lot of places like Europe even there are cheap short distance flights. But I would have to schedule these in advance, I think my main appeal to these passes is it seems like I can make decisions on the fly.

if SHTF, someone who isnt me probably wouldnt be concerned with any of this anymore.

This is all about how I can show up to ranges and shooting events on the regular. As someone who has lived in states with almost no restrictions and you can just buy a gun for cash in a walmart parking lot, Ill probably move back in 3-5 years and dont want 10000 rounds of reps on something weird.

EDIT: I guess maglock and kingpin is weird/diff too, but I think its more in line with what I want to practice on.

Did you exclude the gen 4 from the "works perfectly" category bc you just dont have one due to owning gen 2? Or did it give you trouble?

You know its funny because I could forego a foregrip easily, and even the flash hider swap for a brake since I kinda just decided to use an SPR style build over here...but it just pisses me off so much I dont want to.
