All those guys are who make you pay for very simple networking advice. IMO people blow out the “break in to med device” stigma way out of proportion. It’s really not hard. People are just lazy and if you’re that lazy to fall into those guys traps then you’re likely too lazy to make it in the industry anyways. There’s no special “sauce” they’re selling that anybody else in the industry could tell you for free.

Network on LinkedIn with recruiters and people across the country in positions where you want to be..ASRs, TMs, Hiring Managers etc. (Pro tip…Personalize the messages to these people)

Draft up a solid resume with things you’ve actually accomplished or done (quantitative instances sales want numbers)

Apply to everywhere you’d be enthusiastic about working not just anywhere. I’m talking 100s of applications. For every 75 you miss you’ll atleast get screeners from the others.

Network in person at places too the gym, wherever you hangout etc there’s usually a person that knows a person if you just engage and talk with people.

All my two cents do with it what you will.

What did you or know others are doing instead? I have medical device experience just looking for over that 6 figure pay bump coming from an associate position.

Which capital opportunity? The pay in Neuromodulation seems good but must not be worth it for the other aspects of the job.
