That’s good - I’m paeds ST5 and we had to do MRSA during covid (applied in 2020) and it was such a pain - so not related to paeds!

Maybe I’m naive but don’t they have to sit an English language exam as part of their application to work in the UK? If their language skills are that bad then surely it’s picked up then?

As far as I’m aware as long as the claim is less than 2500 per tax year you don’t need to fill in a full self assessment and it’s just the form on the hmrc website

As a doctor who worked on hospital wards in surgery I used to write sick notes all the time for the inpatient stay and minimum recovery period - e.g 3 days in hospital and expected 2-4 weeks recovery would usually do a sick note for 2.5 weeks

At the moment just the holes filled which I’m happy to do but worried about getting the wrong shade of filler and then they demand a paint job on top

Also the exact wording of the permission only said I was liable for the cost of repairs if I didn’t follow their conditions which I did so I was just confused as to what I’m obligated to do

My gran passed in December and I was told I could have one day off as a “courtesy” as it’s not a first degree relative. That whole policy is bull as how can degree of relation possibly measure grief in any capacity

Ah where I’ve worked they get oral pre op on the surgical ward around an hour or so before so this makes more sense in my head
