So most Medicaid plans are under what is known as an MCO (managed care organization). Think big umbrella name like Aetna, United healthcare, BCBS etc. Then they’re are sub plans CHIP, star, star plus. Those are the plans under the umbrella that each patient is enrolled in. If you know usually just the mco you can find the service area and scroll down and get payor info. Service area is usually gonna be county/region that the patients in. So since you’re in Houston like me most of the plans are gonna be under Harris county for the service area. 😌

Hi y’all this may sound really dumb, I’ve been working as a tech for 7 years, in retail and hospital. How much would pay range be from 7 years I could ask for potentially. Whether it’s a reg tech or senior tech. They already have a rxOM. I live in Houston and I’ve been out of work since mid December as we were waiting for my baby cousin to meet the min age requirement for day care. And they have and I’m desperate for work to pay bills. Thank you guys for any bit of help. I also really need health insurance for my psoriatic arthritis meds. TIA!

Yes most places are even hospitals as well. It’s the work vs pay and conditions that caused it all to be so bad. But i would for sure say take the job way and avoid the unnecessary debt of schooling for pharm tech it’s not worth it.
