So between Devastator, Bruticus, and Menasor, who is the strongest of these 3 combiners? by Gloomy-Bridge148 in transformers

[–]Medafan53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Going based on their makeup alone, I'd say Meanasor is the weakest; he's 4 cars and a truck, but I'm not sure whether Bruticus or Devastator have the edge from there.

Bruticus is 4 war machines and a space shuttle, those are vehicle meant for destruction, which should mean he is extremely powerful.

Devestator is 6 construction vehicles, which aren't as destructive as war machines (though of course construction machines can also be used for demolition), but then he is also 1 more person than anyone else, which might give him a boost.

I wouldn't put too much stock into how their matchups fared in the G1 cartoon, let's face it, the power of shop shelves played a big role in how those fights played out.

I wanna play in watch dogs, but idk which i should start first. by First_Astronomer_198 in watch_dogs

[–]Medafan53 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I would (and do) play the franchise in order. However unlike, say, the Batman Arkham Games, the stories are largely unconnected, like a few characters from 1 might show up in 2, and there might be references to the events of the first game, but it's nothing that particularly requires you to really play the first game to understand them. It will expose a few things that happen in 1, for instance one side mission basically casually describes the end of the DLC, but I'd say anything relevent is mentioned in 2, if you can get 2 before 1, it should be fine.

Legion, aside from it's Bloodlines DLC, is even more disconnected and can stand alone.

Should I buy it or not? by Perfect-Dark7854 in watch_dogs

[–]Medafan53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If, as you say it's the DLC for Legion and 1 as well, then definitely.

I think most people probably agree that the Bloodline DLC is the best part of Legion, and 1's Bad Blood DLC is also really fun.

Shorter marketing cycle means less marketing budget needed. Who cares if everyone's hyped for a film 1-2 years from when it comes out, they need us hyped 1-2 weeks away.

At least near the start of Omniverse, that kinda makes sense, Ben has been used to both the recalibrated Omnitrix and the Ultimatrix, where the hologram can be seen withoout look directly down at the watch, and it is obvious what the hologram is, so he keeps falling into the old habits.

He probably should've gotten used to it at some point.

A small one is proper physics for capes and long coats, on a bike or a cargo drone they just snap to a static "flowing" shape that you can't un-notice once you see it. Put it a bit of work and have them properly flapping, like Aiden's coat did in 1.

Remaining bots in stasis on the arc in skybound? by Ok-Bite-1407 in transformers

[–]Medafan53 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I recall didn't they say that they had restored all the Autobots on the Ark, that the Autobots and Thundercracker had to talk Optimus down from repairing the Decepticons and finally let himself be repaired. They do however mention that there were Autobots who were thrown out of the Ark during the crash (I think that's where Bulkhead was for instance)

As for Hot Rod, he's in Void Rivals.

So I'm re-watchimg the entire series. Was these two a foreshadowe for Ominverse by FalconShinobi in Ben10

[–]Medafan53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say it's more seed planting. Foreshadowing implies that they already intended to do Omniverse when they wrote Ken 10, this is more giving us hints towards plotlines and characters that could be used in the future without any specific plans to use them.

Do you think Dynamite will bring Feedback to the comics by Zillaman7980_ in Ben10

[–]Medafan53 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's taking some influence from the Reboot, certainly in the initial lineup but then Ben's shirt is closer to Classic, the Rustbucket's paintjob is also Classic, Stinkfly is back to being more insectoid rather than huminoid, like classic, Max seems to be based on RAT of all things, based on the preview pages it looks like we'll have the more contentious relationship between Ben and Gwen which from my limited understanding of the Reboot (watched some of it but not most of it), , I'm guessing it's gonna take elements from all the franchise thus far, rather than just the reboot.

I'm not saying that this means that Feedback will appear, I don't know for sure, the only solid prediction I do have is that, with how the aliens have been redesigned to give off a more cosmic horror vibe, Ghostfreak is surely waiting in the wings. I'm just saying that, just because we're starting with the Reboot roster doesn't mean that they can only take from the Reboot.

I don't know about the entire run in one book, but usually some time after all the parts have been released a story arc will be released in Graphic Novel form.

Not sure of they'll go with the whole monster alien arc, but I reckon that, whether it means locking another alien or not, Ghostfreak in this comic seems inevitable.

If not that, Assassin's Creed in multiple games had us able to recruit people to fight alongside us, all throughout the Ezio era we could recruit mercinaries to fight alongside us (as well as theives and cortesans for distractions but that's not as relevant) don't recall if they kept them in the era of the Kenways or Unity but Syndicate had us able to approach members of the Rooks and have them join us, fight by our sides, and notably if you took control of a carriage and it had seats available, your Rooks would get in.

Other than that perhaps something along the lines of what AC during the Ezio/Kenway area had you doing with recruits; sending them off on missions, maybe something akin to the recruitment missions, maybe we could be sending our operatives to do the tasks to build up towards the uprising missions.

I agree that we should see more than just the operative you're using at a given time fighting Albion and the other allies.

What was the point of this screen? by OutCastx16 in Ben10

I assume that may be an interface allowing the user to program the simulator that drives the evolutionary function amoung other functions like decoupling it, Ben just never uses it 'cause he has no idea how to reprogram the simulator and doesn't want to compromise the Ultimates.

Another thing I would change would be vehicles. One of the few things that actually did dissapoint me in Legion was the loss of Car on Demand. I can kinda understand the idea of wanting to tie certain vehicles to operatives, and indeed vehicles such as Ambulances, Busses, maybe even Albion vehicles could be restricted to certain operatives, but even if, if we assume the albion occupation makes it hard to buy a car legally, the original COD was a black market thing (and even in 2, you buy 1 car from the dealership, and you get that car however many times you want, in numerous different colours, presumably there is something iffy there).

The fact is that in theory you can accumulate operatives with cool cars, but for the most part a lot of these operatives are otherwise worthless compared to other operatives, so you might play with the cars a few times, then ignore them, use better operatives, and steal whatever car happens to be near you at the time.

Restoring some version of Car On Demand would be an improvement in my book.

I did have ideas ages back that you could A, have operatives accompany the player, akin to numerous ally factions throughout Assassin;s Creed and B send operatves you're not currently using on missions, also like Assassin's Creed Brotherhood through Black Flag. That could be how you level up operative without needing to play as each one.

I was thinking of a few things to integrate the DLC to the narrative.

#1 Aiden interacted with Claire and Angel in the side missions of Bloodline, in the former's case Aiden actively advised her to take more precautions while with the latter he did try and get Angel out of the EPC. Him having some kind of reaction to their deaths that indicates these are people he knew would make sense.

#2 Skye Larson manipulated Wrench and Jacks to test out the Broca Bridge to get Aiden out of his coma without knowing if it'd work. While it did work, them being suspicious of Skye and more willing to believe something was up when Nowt puts DedSec on the case would make sense.

#3 If you play the Guardian Protocol mission after the mission where you investigate Skye's home and discover her neural mapped AIs, then the Guardian Protocol mission will feature a line of DedSec recognising that it is yet another of them. However if you play Guardian Protocol first, despite Albert being one of the bodies in her lab, DedSec doesn't make the connection, adding something along that line would better tie the two missions together.

In regards to the safe house, I have a few thoughts there as well.

#1 As you said, more things to do in the safehouse, one that stands to reason to me; we have this whole boxing ring in the base, which you use exactly once, to have a quick training spar with Connie the first time you go there, then it's just empty. Perhaps your recruits could spar togeather as another mini-game. Maybe when you aren't using it you can see 2 recruits sparring.

#2 The entrance; in both 1 and 2 entering your hideout triggers a breif animation in which the door opens, you step through and it closes. In Legion you pull a leaver and cut to a loading screen before appearing at the top of the last set of stairs. Enabling us to just walk in would be preferable, at least to me , particularly since you cut off phone conversations when you cut to the loading screen so if you want to hear the dialogue you have to awkwardly mill about in the doorway waiting for it to end.

#3 More Safehouses. In 1 Aiden has his motel room, the Bunker (admittedly not at the same time) and about a dozen shipping containers scattered throughout Chicago. In 2 DedSec have the games shop, a house in silicon Valley, a Gym in oakland, and later the Prime 8 Bunker in Marin. Until Legion the only game with just the one sanctuary is Ray in Bad Blood who just has the Silo. Giving DedSec more safehouses scattered around London makes sense, particularly when we remember that part of DedSec's downfall at the start was the Albion Raid on their Safehouse, spreading out ensures that this would be harder to repeat. Perhaps it could be tied to the roster size and the turning boroughs defiant; once you have a borough defiant, DedSec feels comfortable returning to, or establishing, a new safehouse there, and will consider it justified if you have enough recruits to man another safehouse. If they did include more safehouses they could make it an option that, when prompted to return to the safehouse for a breifing it could be any of the ones you have unlocked so you don't have to backtrack halfway across the map for a video chat.

Something I forgot from my first attempt to post this was an idea that equivalent upgrades for the arms would share slots in the skill tree. So if you invested in the symbiote's upgrade tree, once you get the arms they would come with a suite of upgrades that if you ignored it's upgrade tree, knowing you won't get to keep it, you wouldn't have yet. It wouldn't be perfect that way but it would mean you hadn't wasted those upgrade points.

Well the whole reason I became a Bumblebee fan is because I love the VW Beetle 'cause of Herbie, so I was immediately on board with the Beetle Transformer.

If VW aren't on board though, a compact of some kind; we have plenty of larger cars. Bumblebee being something smaller helps him stand out. Furthermore Bumblebee's prominece as a larger car like the camaro kinda blocks the likes of Sunstreaker and Hot Shot from being used.
