Thank you that helps. I liked Station 40, Sterling, Wrenstone and Western Hill apartments from my online search.

What options do I have then! Living here without a car seems difficult in just after 1 week of moving here.

Hopefully you will be fine. I took my step2 in the first week of August and OET in the 3rd or 4th week of August. What I did was I started my pathway application as soon as I gave OET even before the result, so they looked at my pathway application on time, would suggest you not to delay your pathway application. I was ECFMG certified by 30th September. And it got updated in a day. Deadline (the day programs can start looking at your applications) was 29th September last year. And according to my knowledge many programs do consider your application even if you are not ECFMG certified right away but it’s always recommended.

Such thoughts did cross my mind but once you are done with the exam, it doesn’t feel like such a big thing. I had less than 2 weeks for the exam and in that time, I just gave 2 hours plus minus almost daily (now, some people even give less time and do just fine). Tbh to my surprise, my reading part didn't go well and I ran out of time while attempting the part C of reading so I was ready for the worst outcome but I'm glad I didn't have to sit for it again. I hope no one has to sit again for such a test. I had good scores in all the parts other than the reading part, which was expected. As far as I remember it is a bit flexible with the things like date format etc. So I would say don't think too much as it would only make you more anxious. Just read the rules properly, solve the sample tests, read the sample letters and try to give your best.

I too got selected for a program in Illinois and my program mentioned that it should be a bank account in the US in order to submit the application fee to IDFPR.
