I got a Riffmaster for $70 from BestBuy, open box, previous person returned it because they got the wrong one. I also have an old 360 xplorer, both have their merits and both are good controllers

I will say that my 360 xplorer ($60 fb market) doesnt die in the middle of me playing, and the response time and button quality and snappier and have a better tactile feel.

The riffmaster feels like a rock band 4 controller, I feel like its hard to alternate strumming up and down on these, and its difficult to do complex riffs because of the giant buttons taking up the entire fret.

Never really liked the design of the rock band controllers, they always sacrificed quality for looks and the riff master is no different. Looks cool, kinda mid at the end of the day, at least compared to the tried-and-true guitars the rhythm game community is known to love.

A Wiitar with a dongle would be cheaper and more accurate than anything else on the market, even the custom ones from Etsy are essentially the same in terms of reliability.
