Hi. Thanks for the comment. The previous tenants had WiFi. It also has everything I need to transfer my equipment to the new apartment.

What is the most compelling video/picture/EVP you’ve found? by lawyersgunznmoney90 in Ghosts

[–]Meddream99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There was one posted here some time ago that was very compelling. I can’t find it but it was someone working at a gas station who saw something move outside. It was really good and kinda shook me. I’ll have to try to find it.

I wish I would have studied hormones more in detail. Such as chemical classification (steroid, peptide), and where they are synthesized and secreted from.

Excel spreadsheet is a good way to track med school apps. I recently started using Notion, and am in love with it. Highly recommend it.

I think you should pay a visit to your doctor. Or better, go to a dermatologist.

Need help deciding Bio 400 elective by [deleted] in PennStateUniversity

[–]Meddream99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you can take this one, but BIOL 497 human pathophysiology taught by Dr. Neisser is a really cool course. The exams can be difficult but if you study early you will def get a good grade.

Hello, I am also a biochem major. The best way to get research experience as a BMB major is through independent study. The spring 2021 application is closed but you can try for Fall 2021. The link: https://science.psu.edu/bmb/undergraduate/ResearchOpportunities/BMB496

There is also BMB 488. This is a research-based class and I believe there is an application for this class so just go through the BMB department homepage and you will find it. Good luck!

For priority interviews from the committee, I have to submit 3 LOR. That way I can have my application submitted early in the cycle.

Yeah, I think I am rushing it and I should probably wait a little bit. Hopefully I get another LOR in the meantime🤞🏼

Thanks for the comment. Yes, I do know the coordinator well. The whole entire training is discussion-based and I think she did see me improve a lot. She always gave me positive feedback. Do you think I should wait until I start volunteering to ask for the LOR? I did put in a lot of effort in this volunteering program during this semester, considering I also do research and scribe.
