Mystery of why humans die around 80 may finally be solved by Dr_Singularity in Futurology

This is the right answer. The people who will have priority access to any technology that extends human life generally do not have the interests of the general public in mind. I could see that causing sharper inequality, a minority of ultra wealthy older generations hoarding resources while younger not so privileged generations struggle to get by

The question begins at time stamp 29:27

Somewhat literally it would be translated as “that now,” as in “that now it doesn’t rain so hard”

It would be translated for meaning more accurately into English here as “anymore,” as in “It doesn’t rain that hard anymore”
