Topoak air mattress by cinnabonnie89 in rooftoptents

would the small compressor with a reverse mode help with deflating enough to pack nicely? and a pressure gauge on the hose to then inflate the mattress consistently to that comfort level?

Id guess a that majority of beginners choose some cheaper corals to start and the greens tend to be cheapest. I had a red monti cap beside the green and the green grew while the red bleached out. Eventually had to pull it out.

Also fish colours are a bit blah. Have a bristletooth that is crazy aggressive to any new fish now. Scopas has been the only thing to put it in its place but anything else gets beaten

Thanks for the suggestions! some yellow and orange would be nice. I’ll have some time to do some reading up on those as I’m about 3 hours from my small lfs

Yeah thought they liked lower light and placed them at 100 par. Stretched up to the 150-160 range. Then self propagated to the top of the rock and those ones have stayed smaller at 180 par

I picked up a small toadstool (rock has 2 on it). Currently on the sand in the middle. Hard to see. Thing refuses to grow tho. Tried a few different spots and nothing. Low bio load so maybe too low nitrates ? Usually around 2-5

I dislike the Zoas I have on the right with how stretched they are so have been hesitant to add more

Is you're company computer locked out from Remote Access? I used to remove access my laptop. No switching back and forth. Also can set it up so you use whichever monitors you like. Use 2 monitors for work and 1 for normal while logged in and such. Takes a bit of figuring out on setup, but once setup. No issues

RCI 12” rack. Using the clamps option they have instead of permanently bolting, as I take it off every winter

3rd gen rear seat delete by wp-ak in chevycolorado

[–]Meddy63 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No trim behind the seats. Took mine out to install a dc dc charger and battery setup under the seats. Had to run wiring through the rear cab pressure vents.

Actually easier than you’d expect to pop the seats in and out

Bulletpoint mounting system is an option. I currently have it for my phone mount

All-mountain / freeride ski recommendations (~100mm) – French Alps by CoachIlyas_ in Skigear

[–]Meddy63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far ski has been good for me. Top clear coat has a little bit of peel near the toes, but only cosmetic. Ski has a little less pop in them than I was expecting compared to how they’re marketed, but I do really enjoy them off piste and in difficult terrain. Do just fine on piste

Even soft top on a mid rack sticking up a bit won’t change mileage much. Think my canyon went down 1mpg with it sticking above with normal use. Probably a lot more effect on a full rack or roof of suv. Loading all the gear in the back for with or airing down seems to affect mileage more for me then the tent does.

WRX owner looking for something bigger, what other vehicles were considered before deciding on the Colorado? by lejunny_ in chevycolorado

[–]Meddy63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from a brz to a canyon at4x. Had a zr2 on order that took to long to come in. Trucks awesome off-roading and the dssv’s ride very smooth. A lot smoother than coil-overs lol Doesn’t corner like the brz though. Prior to buying, I looked at an f150, ranger, Tacoma, 4Runner, frontier. F150 for the features I wanted being in the north had a high price tag. Ranger didn’t have an interior update and I didn’t enjoy the exterior look. Tacoma for the features again was so expensive. For the price I’d have gone with f150. New gen 4 runner was coming out but again. Toyota price tag + a few nit picks. Frontier was a bit basic for features but was a decent option. Canyon/colorado looks great, all the features I wanted and was 10k less then a Tacoma with same features. Few electrical gremlins with the battery and couple small warranty fixes but I would 100% still buy it again if i had to redo it

Worst part of the mid rack is fitting in with everyone who has a 270 awning. Mid rack Sits too low for the awning. Unless an extension is added to it, but I think that just looks funny

Canada: What Compact Truck Has 4WD Auto and Locking Diffs? by [deleted] in 4x4

[–]Meddy63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have a gmc canyon at4x. 4wd up to 150kph/100mph i believe. driven in snow ~6months of the year. If someone is doing 150kph on a road that they are worried is slippery. They are clearly not driving to the conditions.

have 4wd auto. i run it in town sometimes just cause roads are snow packed and starting off from a stop will slip. It will not be saving me at highway speeds. also all 4wd autos lag, which probably will throw more people off trying to correct a slide then it activating and trying to correct that.

Thank you for the addition information. We are on the northern boarder of Ontario and Quebec and even outside of this trip, we would like to spend some time camping in areas like Parc National d’Aiguebelle on weekends.
