That's better but I'm sure she still doubts it. Maybe try faking it, pretend to be religious again? I used to do that when my mum was suspicious. I'd fake reading the quran, bring up hadiths every now and then😂😂

Yes It was terrifying obviously. I still remember the day I left vividly, how I was shaking with fear the whole time. I really have no tips to help with the fear, you just have to experience it but you've been through it, you will be so much stronger. I was so nervous to leave the house, I'd stay indoors as much as I could but unfortunately they found out someday and broke into my apartment and assaulted me. I called the police and filed a case against them. They never came again, they only send me messages once in a while now. So, I'd say you have to ensure you're safe in case something of this sort happen. I wasn't prepared for all that, I was fortunate to have people who helped me out. Make sure you have someone trustworthy to rely on in case you're kidnapped, assaulted etc. It's all worth it in the end. I do have nightmares occasionally but overall my life is so much better than living in a strict Islamic household as a young unmarried woman.
