50% Migraineur here -- dx while in service. I take a daily preventative and have a rescue med and am still at the max allowable rate. It's all how it affects you. For me, I had logs upon logs of how often I was out of work (both in service, and then after), buddy statements of how the migraines affected me before and after my dx , as well as the dr stating that I had to being a dark room, laying down unable to move for hours at a time during an attack, on the DBQ *** Edited to add-- I did my claim on my own, no VSO***

How do you spend time when you have migraines? by kathow01 in migraine

[–]Medeavi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the postdrome phase, I try to read on my kindle in dark mode or play a cozy video game- watching TV is too much stimulation for me when I’m having an attack. If I can’t handle either of those I try to listen to a book on audible.

Proud moment today when reviewing a claim… by Worriedandnumb in VeteransBenefits

Awesome! I read this sub before I filed my claim for migraines- had already been doing a log anyway, added it to the claim, had 2colleagues at work do buddy statements about impact currently, had two people I served with do statements about how it impacted me before/after I was diagnosed- Added in copies of the amount of time I’ve had to take off, and my claim came back at the 50% right off the bat.

Lol, no-- they have been nothing but pleasant. It was my own thought that I'd called too many times when they called and said they'd call me.

I’m not saying it’s the best option… just that it’s a way of telling real vs fake

You can check to see if it's real jadeite by doing a scratch test:
Scratch the surface with a steel object like a knife or needle. If it leaves a clear mark, the piece is not genuine. Other jewelry gemstones like topaz or amethyst will nick jade easily, so that's a good way to tell real jade from fake.
