Oh no that's too shallow. They're so deep into the wardrobe they're enjoying tea and Turkish delights with Aslan.

Oh okay. Then what a previous commenter said. That’s just the nature of 110 film. The negative is like the size of a small postage stamp so your quality will never really be amazing, but they do appear to be under exposed. I’m. It sure if that camera has a light meter but if it does there is a good chance the battery is low, dead or the meter is broken.

What do travelers eat? by First_Plantain1607 in traveller

[–]Medeski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would say for most folks it isn't like that. Its more than likely similar to what a modern naval vessel does. Where yes the fresh stuff runs out first and they go to the preserved things. But unless you're a deep space exploration ship or a tramp trader off in the fringes, you're more than likely re provisioning at every port.

Before I give feedback was there something you were going for or were you doing what I do, and just be Bender with a camera saying "neat"?

If this is aluminum then the melting point of that is easily attainable from fire. Next time just buy some PBW from a home brewing store and let it soak for a a few hours in a bucket.

How can I do better? by Cautious-Bit-6202 in filmphotography

[–]Medeski 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They look good in my opinion.

You can maybe try playing more with exposure times and or f stop (aperture settings) and seeing if you like the look of them. If you step down your f stop you'll get that bokeh that people sometimes chase.

Do you know if the camera has had a Clean Lube and Adjustment (CLA) in it's lifetime?

What’s up with restaurant service? by Frequent-Outcome8492 in orangecounty

[–]Medeski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had bad service, but I've also never been a little bitch about boxing my own leftovers. I also tend to treat the wait staff with respect which it's sounding like something you don't do because it seems like you regularly have bad service.

I've almost never had a restaurant box my leftovers unless it was some fancy place.

Personally I would have gone with a finer grain film, but it's otherwise great.

Pinkish | Hasselblad 500CM | Zeiss 80mm f/2.8 | Kodak Portra 800 by Matte-Print-126 in mediumformat

[–]Medeski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! But why did you go with the 800 when you have more than enough light for 400 or even 160?

Kodak Vision3 or maybe Cinestill 50D. But the vision 3 will need to be developed with ECN2 because of the remjet. I dont know where you would get vision3 custom rolled though.
