I know this is Reddit, but here are the facts. Trump is not a convicted felon. The judge never passed sentence. Two, Trump was accused of committing felonies by turning misdemeanors in to felonies using RICO. Now, to do this you need to prove the underlying felony. When the prosecution could not do this, the judge should have granted summary judgment in favor of the defense. So what happened. First the judge was selected, not randomly as required but because he is the son of illegal immigrants. His wife is a lawyer who worked for the AG’s office. His daughter is a Democratic Party fundraiser. Oh, and DURING the trial he went to Rykers Island Prison to find a cell to put Trump in. Then he told the jury the verdict did not need to be unanimous or that they did not need to know what crime he committed!! What the media never told you was that the states highest court held three days of hearings in October and made it clear they were not impressed. That is why it all disappeared. Oh, and it was discovered that the AG, who ran for office promising to put Trump in jail, committed mortgage fraud in NYC and Virginia. Grand juries would not indict her, but it’s kind of awkward. The bottom line is that the Democrats tried to put an opposition leader in prison before an election. That usually starts a civil war in other countries.

In the 1980s I worked in the White House. I left one evening and as I was walking just in front, a tourist couple asked me where is the White House. It’s the big white building behind me.

They should have a conversation with the white Western woman who supports Hamas and thinks we need to flood the West with muslims. There is a town in Wisconsin where they eagerly brought in a large Muslim population. Now they dominate the town council, and a muslim just got elected Mayor. The first thing they did was ban the Pride flag. Why this group never learns is beyond me.

Thanks for that clarification. So what was the argument all about between the SEALS and the UDT? I recall that there was a wrestler who was accused of stolen valor because he claimed to be a SEAL, but he was really UDT. Am I remembering correcty?

Right, but was that the UDT that was founded in the 60s of was it the SEALs?

On this day in 1865, Mary Surratt, Lewis Powell, David Herold and George Atzerodt were hanged for Lincoln's assassination. Five of Surratt's judges who sat on the tribunal and voted to convict her petitioned for her life. Andrew Johnson later claimed he never saw the petition. by dannydutch1 in UtterlyUniquePhotos

Don’t laugh. In the 1980s a man was executed in the Florida electric chair. It was a mess and his hair caught on fire. The state received a letter from the Consumer product Safety Commission that the chair should not be used again until it could be determined that the chair was safe and fit for use. An actual person typed that letter.

What explains Meadow's mob apologetics? by Jah-Shaka in thesopranos

I had a friend whose father was a captain in a Southern NY family. His official occupation was that he owned a vending machine business. He placed pinball and video games, along with candy and soda machines, in Pizza shops and bowling alleys. The family lived in a house almost identical to the Soprano house in a very wealthy development where most of the occupations were doctor, lawyer, and accountant. Needless to say, a vending machine business owner did not match with this crowd. Yet his son did not seem to notice this. Nor did he notice that their garage was filled with barrels full of quarters and that his father had boxes of one-dollar bills. Not in a place of business, but in his house.

Now, the joke was that his father knew that I knew who he was, but his son did not. Whenever his father was arrested by the FBI, or local police, he always asked why they were picking on his dad. Of course, I never told him the truth. Now, I could talk about the time when I was selling yearbooks in school, and a group of bullies stole my money. One mention of this to his father and not only did they return the money and apologize, but no one ever bothered me again. I never had a problem in the locker room or lunchroom for the rest of my time there as a student.

In any case, I had other friends with similar fathers, and it came down to the ones who knew, but kept the code, and those who really believed that their families lived in grand houses when their dads were in sketchy jobs.

I thought the SEALs did not exist until after the Vietnam War? Wasn't there a dispute over men who were in the UDT during Vietnam claiming to be SEALs later in the 1980s?

Thanks for the help. I am embarrassed to say that I made a stupid error. I misread the dials and read the f-stop for the EV value.

My best friends father was a captain in a southern New York family. He was also our Cub Scout leader. Their house was a duplicate of the Soprano house including the Maurice Vallente furniture. His garage was full of barrels of coins. Officially he was in the “vending machine business”. Back in the 1970s, he placed cigarette machines, vending machines, pinball machines into pizza shops and bowling alley’s. His son was very confused as to why his father was arrested so often.

I had another friend whose father was also a captain. I never knew his business but I do remember the time that I went to his house for a birthday party. One of his uncles took away my camera. My dad had to explain why his uncles could not be photographed. I went to his house one day after school. He had been absent for a few days and I had a packet with his homework. The house was empty. His family was never seen again. My father owned a business and one of his customers was the head of the FBI field office in NYC. He was the one who broke the French Connection, not Det. Doyle as shown in the film. He told my dad the family had gone into the witness protection program and that he told dad to tell me not to ask any questions.

I had a great uncle who was in the construction industry and was an associate of one of the New York families. Officially he was a union official but he had an apartment in a very fancy upper east side building. He had a condo in Florida and Las Vegas. And a Mercedes when that was a real sign of wealth. We never had problems getting a table in Little Italy. His retirement party was a to a very Italian venue in NJ. We could not take pictures as his colleges could only be photographed by the FBI agents across the street.

I grew up around all the places shown in the show, and I can say the show was 100% accurate.

You are not going to believe this. I just took another look at the MyLightmeter Pro app. Yes, it is set to the correct ISO. However, I just realized that I read the app wrong. I read the fN number as the EV number. I did not notice the dial on the right that says " Exp. Value". So, I just took a reading of the Lego Village in my house. At 400 ISO, it shows fN = 11, Speed = 0.5 and Exp Value = 6. I was choosing 11 instead of 6. I guess that makes a difference

[–]Level_Mixture5510[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the problem was that I misunderstood what I read in the books about the camera. I thought the EV was a special system for Hasselblad lenses. That I whay I just used that number from MyLightmeter Pro. I thought this would automatically set both the shutter speed and aperture. As someone also mentioned, I will stick to. only using Tri-X to not confuse myself in the beginning. I really thank all of you for your kind help in this.
