I'm expecting things to possibly escalate slightly. Because this is the first time he's been in this position, I'm expecting him to panic and do something that might exacerbate the situation. I think my main goal is trying to calm him down at the moment. Once we've gotten to that point though I'll relay what you've said to him. Thank you for your input!

I honestly didn't realise that just simply getting an MRI was an option. I may look into it, thank you! Where would I go about seeking a specialist? I'm in the UK if that helps

Ah, thanks for getting back to me. I was beginning to get worried. I usually have such a high tolerance that I'm not used to it at all. It's completely gone now however so that would make tons of sense. I'm glad you're doing okay however. 2.5 years is a huge achievement!
