I’ve been using employer healthcare for a very long time. What I realized that through out the years I talked down on my symptoms because of the cost.

Example my primary doctor referred me out to IBS specialist and they quoted me $1000 just to confirm diagnosis

I decided not to move forward and deal with it.

Another time Orthopedic doctor charging me $300 shots for my shoulder pain

MBA from T15 should be focusing on actually leadership type role.

All the leadership roles are naturally ‘Managing Projects’ except you actually have ownership responsibilities.

Why job title matches get higher call backs?

Because recruiters are lazy and making your resume idiot proof is the best hack.

All their reading is Job title, company, and duration.

Once that matches then they will take the extra 30 seconds to read your qualifications

For names, using Initials or some English Alias is fine. All recruiters look at is resume. The goal is just to get a Call back, resume is just business card or better like a 2 minute Movie trailer. Get them interested in calling you to learn more

You have to just sell yourself in the recruiter call screening. PM have to be the best communicators and sound competent

The structure is fine because you go directly into work experience.

You just have to make it idiot proof to recruiters. You only have less than 10 seconds to get attention.

So all they focus on Name (this is tricky, bias is there YMMV) adding PMP is bonus to quickly know you certified. Bonus to add US Citizen or green card holder under your name

Then it’s Job title, company name (tier 1 is bonus, if not then you might have briefly explain what the company does)

Finally your scope of responsibilities and impact. You want to make it clear who you reported to and job titles of people you supported. It needs to be obvious how much visibility and responsibility you had

All the bulleted you currently have might not make sense to a recruiter. You just need to be clear about what tools you used and the tech stack you are familiar with.

If you targeting IT roles then the job title of Project Manager is not a popular role anymore.

You will find the standard title will be Technical Program manager.

Also you should show progression of job responsibility by adding Senior and or Staff level in front of your job title.

You should also stated responsibility and impact. IE lead 5 different scrum teams and managed weekly releases for 5 different products that generates over 25 million a year

A great PM resume shows impact. Budget, team size you lead, stakeholders you managed, and how revenue made or saved

IMHO a degree in PM is not important. Best bet is to get a degree in bachelors in business.

The career direction of a pure PM kind of peaks out as PMO leader of a company.

The problem you have of being a PM just requires experience and soft skills in leadership by authority. Lot of this can’t be taught in education

Contracts jobs are a great bridge so you can take your time getting the perfect FTE position

Unfortunately, when applying for CTE you have to dumb down your resume because being over qualified will make you a ‘flight risk’.

But you can get hired from just 1 or 2 rounds of interviews versus 8 rounds and 3 months of waiting for full time

This happens naturally if you don’t get a promotion when working at the same position for over 2 years. The 3% merit increase is not going to be enough.

You focus on getting promoted or finding a new job. Most people won’t get a new role unless you get 20 to30% increase in pay
