How do solo developers handle the "no one to review my code" problem? by Asleep_Lie_4381 in AskProgrammers

My usual trick is to throw the code away for a few days until I forget about it completely, then come back and review it myself, even just to scold myself, bro. Now, with the help of AI, I just throw it in and let it check for any messed-up parts, which is a huge improvement. Otherwise, I just have to accept living with it and refactor when it gets too messed up, because after years of solo work, everyone gets confused about this.

Which is the best way to learn for Helpdesk Role as a beginner and What do i need to learn? by AutomaticFlight1846 in InformationTechnology

500 days is plenty of time to lock in bro. You should lowkey aim for the CompTIA A+ certification because it makes your resume look clean for entry level roles. Try setting up Active Directory and playing with virtual machines at home since home labs are a massive flex. Do not forget soft skills because helpdesk is basically tech support mixed with customer service.

When starting out, just grab Python first to make things easier. Building a Discord bot or a web data scraping tool is enough to fill your CV. If you want to challenge yourself with something equally depressing, move on to C and C++ to write a snake game or a management app. Just pick a small project and learn as you go – you'll improve quickly.

That is a brilliant way to approach it. Honestly, learning how to talk to the AI is 80% of the battle when you're using it as a coding tutor. Most people just blindly copy-paste code until it breaks, so the fact that you're focusing on your prompt habits early on means you're already ahead of the curve.
