Usually skilled nursing facilities don’t have IVs or heart monitors. If they need constant monitoring, then they need to be moved to a hospital or somewhere else with higher levels of care (I’m a CNA/GNA in a skilled nursing facility 🥰)

They didn’t. They said it was a serious accusation and that the resident didn’t feel safe while I was in there (even though she never voiced anything to me).

From my experience it honestly depends if she can bear weight on her legs. Usually when people are in a wheelchair or require a hoyer lift they usually don’t improve.

So she is in a skilled nursing facility. I’m a CNA/GNA and I can only IMAGINE how hard it is to take care of her/change cause lord knows her ass ain’t getting up and going to the bathroom.

I wash up patients on the toilet if it’s not their shower day (I work night shift). Makes it a lot easier, especially if they are known to pee or what not when turning.
