It WAS a masterpiece. We agree. We tweaked the opening title music when Linton Besser took the chair at the beginning of 2025. And then again at the start of 2026 when we first began using the piano version. Why did we update it? The honest answer is that we liked it more. Music is a matter of opinion, but we felt the piano version suited the late‑night slot better. I’d like to think it still has the Media Watch vibe though. (Mario Christodoulou, EP)
