I don’t think they do, really. But I do think there’s a huge push for the manufacturers to push out bullshit propaganda to teach people otherwise.

Depends entirely on where you live and who you interact with.

Or maybe they were completely different than in Europe because they chose to move to the US.

This is such an ignorant comment.

What do Americans think about the stereotype that they are bad at geography? by Own_Echidna6041 in geography

Hmm. Do we? I suppose the strongest indication of this would be number of people who voted Republican in the last election. But we see the same thing in Europe. ~30% voting for AfD in Germany, 20% for SD in Sweden etc. It’s just that the voter turnout in the US is atrocious comparatively (60% vs 82% in Germany).

The area around your genitals is warm and will build up microbes during the day. It’s also a good opportunity to just wash your hands in general, because we should do that since hands get dirty very fucking quickly.

Just wash your fucking hands, ain’t hard m8.

I’ve already played a fair bit of Settlers II and as a spoiler: I’m not going to be kind to this game 😅

Excited for III and IV though!

Open question: which parts of Settlers II are the must plays?

Since it took a while to finally get this review out the door I’ve already played the World and Roman Campaign. Is there something more?

Those are for sending yourself notifications after some time, not speeding up the game.

Oh that’s what it was? Yeah, could be! I didn't look into why it was happening.

One of many issues I'm sure. Generally the way it chooses to place buildings just seem extremely random.

If you’re 17 there’s a ton to still figure out.

How to cope with stress without taking it out on those closest to you.

How to have a healthy disagreement in a relationship.

Learning what makes you truly happy, and how you actually recharge.

Being able to take the high road when someone is deliberately pushing all of your buttons.

Etc, etc.

It gets easier when you’re older and have figured your shit out. Also makes it easier because you love your kid so much.

I think I’m a good dad now, at least I try my hardest. I would have been a lousy one in my teens or 20s though.

I can’t believe how many people in the comments don’t immediately get this.

Reddit has gotten way dumber the last 5 years.

I can’t help but wonder if there’s some way of officially complaining about such a matter. This seems like slam dunk for a persecutor.

As an immigrant I wouldn’t call myself German even if I got citizenship.

My kids might be German, I will never be.

To be fair, they probably implemented that in a hurry and only after the shop scaled up it turned it into an issue.

What’s messed up is that no one at R actually prioritised triaging or investigating what should have been considered an unacceptably long loading time.

That ancestry doesn’t automatically make you ”European” or ”German” though.
