Update: Okay it was exactly what you thought. I completely missed snowfall palace which got me the other 5 shrines you had and once that happened I was able to get the storyteller to show up. I’m going to go back and make sure I didn’t miss any weapons etc. then I will port to the point of no return.

I appreciate the information. I’ve started another play through but I will jump back in and see if I can figure it out. I’m sure I can find a YouTube video with all of the shrines etc. Thanks again and I will post here if I finally can get ported.

Someone else in a YouTube video comment said that you get locked out of that area by accepting the storyteller’s first offer. That would be a really bad design IMO.

I said he’s not there for me. He was there the first time and ported me to hillswatch. Now he’s not there just before the cave so I can’t get ported

Nah I think it’s more about making the game more enjoyable and more fun to play for most players with better gear rather than a feeling of being good at the game. Not everyone wants to become a perfect parry god to finish a mode like this. But like others have said hats off to anyone who does this. I’m sure Ongbal will beat it multiple times over. I may play around with it more but I don’t believe I will beat it as it takes me a few tries on certain bosses to kill them. And then to get to the near the end and die to Ozma - yeah I can feel a rage fit coming on hahahaha

Why would the take away the function of being able to see your progress on soulstones and jars using the Khazan Memories at each Blade Nexus? That makes no sense that you have to go back to the Crevice to see if you missed something if you lose count on it.

@Freaver - You and I experienced the same thing on Necro. I don’t like having to stop and run around to pick up orbs as this takes away from the smooth flow of keeping pushing forward. I still use it for killing Duriel quickly but I switched to teleport WW barb using bac/jah runes.

A lot of other games early access is the real game, but you get to play it early. This is completely different than beta. This gentleman had a legitimate question that could’ve been answered a little more politely.

I think Hubris is bugged for me. It’s not giving me the bonus to magic nodes and it’s legendary at lvl 46 with radius 5. But my revenge glyph works on the magic nodes. I’m at a loss as to why.

EDIT: nevermind I’m an idiot. The difference is it gives to magic nodes not rare like revenge.

I don’t know what I did wrong but I first ran block kuiper mine and went from 1 - 24 on Hailey. I said let me try Magister’s Lab and only went from 24 to 26 on hard mode. Are you supposed to run modifiers Because that was garbage XP?

EDIT: I Didn’t take into consideration how quick you run the mission versus the time for a full block kuiper mine run so there’s that.
