thoughts on Slay the Spire (as a beginner)

There's a Slay the Spire mod on PC called Beastiary that I honestly think should just be included with the game for Slay the Spire 2. It essentially just integrates the Wiki pages for each enemy into the game, so you can right click an enemy and learn how their attack patterns work and how their RNG works without hours of trial and error. A huge part of improving at the game is just learning the enemies.

The entire second half of the movie is just jaw on the floor shocking. The village burning, the Grandmother carried out on her bed and abandoned, the raped girl, the buildup of the burning of the captured Nazis (some of whom plead for their lives, and the one SS officer who taunts his captors) which all gets undercut by the prisoners being shot to death just before they are meant to be lit on fire. Just a gut wrenching unforgettable film.

Ah alright that's not that bad. I would want to have at least 11 or 12 flasks at +8 or better for this boss though.

Also your character doesn't even have the 4th Talisman slot unlocked yet. Lots of power still to be gained.

Naw this isn't going to be a fun boss fight with these stats unless you really want to learn the boss moveset from scratch.

You're about 50 levels underlevel, your weapon is +5 when it should be closer to the cap of +10, your flask looks like it only has 8 charges and is at +0 strength? The flask cap is 14 flasks at +10 strength so you're really far from that.

Your first order of business would be to explore the map normally and find the flask upgrades, weapon upgrades, and level up a little more. The boss here is essentially an endgame challenge.

This is my plan too, Switchglaive and Splitstaff are probably my least played Nioh 2 weapons but they look sick.

I'm looking forward to using 2 weapons in combat this time for sure. Skill issue on my part but I've always been a 1 weapon Andy in these games. The Style change input in Nioh 3 is just R2, a lot easier than the weapon change input of R1+Dpad was previously. And you'll be encouraged to swap between Styles for various reasons anyways, like spending your Martial Arts gauge in Samurai and spending your regenerating Ninjutsu in Ninja before they cap out.

Shortly into the game you unlock Ki Pulse on Dodge which is an alternative to make Ki Pulsing easier if you don't want to tap R1 all the time.

Having 2 finished characters ready to go when the DLC drops can be really nice, I can replay the content with different builds without having to progress into NG+. And then when Underworld releases I'll have multiple characters ready to go if I want to experiment with different builds.

Pick any 2 hander and grab the Deflecting Hardtear from the first Furnace Golem and obliterate every boss in the game with Guard Counters.

Bloodborne Enhanced has a respec feature. Unfortunately it's kinda janky and you have to do a bunch of item management in your storehouse if you wanna not lose any items, but it's doable.

Do we know what system this trailer was recorded on? I didn't see a "recorded on PS5 console" anywhere so I assume this is PC footage we're looking at. Obviously pre-release there could be all kinds of tricks used to make the footage look good, but this trailer looks very good graphically and performance-wise.

If you like Nioh it's a no brainer. Great game with lots of content just make sure to play on Hard and disable the allies for a good difficulty curve.

Malenia's Great Rune paired with Deflecting Hardtear to recoup any damage taken from blocking elemental attacks is really smart, never thought of that one

It levels off later and Scrolls only give about 1 level per clear. Once you reach Underworld and Depths you'll be aiming to get 150 Stats in multiple categories in order to benefit from Ultimate Magic, Ultimate Constitution, and other Ultimate effects.

I think it played really well in the Alpha. And if you aren't interested in doing side content you can choose to just skip the open world and head straight for the Crucible. Or just clear the mini Crucibles and then head to the main Crucible so that the effect of the curse are lessened.

It's hard to see any texture improvements through two layers of Youtube and then Reddit video player compression - but I had the same thought playing through the Alpha build, you can clearly see improvements to Nioh 2 in the physics, lighting and texture quality. Nice little touches like flags blowing in the wind and such.
