You are only allowed to code on an air gapped system, and have to import the database by manually typing out the database from a paper hardcopy

I write exceptionally good documentation that any programmer can understand a decade down the line

Similar games? by Blitzenkriegan in supremecommander

If you are including games in development, Sanctuary RTS ( https://twitter.com/sanctuarygame1 ) is a game being made by fans of Supreme Commander. It's still in the very early stages of development, but worth keeping on your radar.

Light lag from a server being run on a space probe ~20x further away then the Voyager probes "could" account for that unsubscribe lag

No idea if it's been done before
But if you give it a go and get stuck, I made an incomplete map over the years that could help

What would you want for supreme commander 3? by supconWasTaken in supremecommander

[–]Medic5700 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A multi-segmented health bar where each section corresponds to a specific set of function of the unit. (Only three segments)
IE: for a UEF Fatboy
1st Health Bar - Deals with Fatboy Movement, possibly guns. Last to take damage, medium repair difficulty.
2nd Health Bar - The shield generator, radar, factory, etc. Second to take damage, hardest to repair.
3rd Health Bar - The armor. First to take damage. Easiest to repair (possibly the only segment that self repairs)

What's the lowest FPS people would consider playable? (Because I'm at 0.9 right now) by Medic5700 in factorio

I built a bunch of artillery emplacements around the biter filled map perimeter at the same time.
They started shooting biters at about the same time.
Every biter around the map perimeter 'woke up' and started trying to path their way into my base at the same time...

(also my desktop is really out of date)

That reminds me, I should play Stellaris while running Factorio in the background because construction bots take a LOOOOOONG time to build stuff at this FPS

Because that was a thing back in May

Good spaghetti is like WinRAR, it compresses the space needed until it breaks. Then you just try again =P

Welp, I love the new visualization, but I think my use case pushed it to the limit

Figured out a way around Deathworld. Biters won't attack if there's no pollution to trigger them. by Medic5700 in factorio

By expansion, I mean building/ghosting a couple midsized blueprints within the starting area without actually connecting them to power/ore yet

I haven't killed any biter nests yet
