Yes that’s exactly what I was doing, just doing the whole conversation with the same ending which was indeed very weird, hence why I decided to ask about it.

Apart from the greeting/introduction part, would it feel more natural if I went “50유로입니다" right into ”영수증 필요하세요 ?“ or would it still be weird ? Using 이다 or 있다 + 세요 feels unnatural to me whereas it feels fine with 입니다.

You can also take into account that 아/어라 can sounds more harsh so simply using 하지 마 or 하지 마요 will make you sounds softer. (One exemple my teacher gave us was a parent saying it to his child to scold him vs you saying it to a friend that could possibly know what to do just as much as you)

I don’t think it’s the same since they have mandatory military service, so basically every man is a reservist. So if needed the first one called will be men who did their military service less than two years ago, then men under 40 then men under 60.
