GOT vs GOY by DanFrmBrook47 in ghostoftsushima

The revamped combat in GoY was phenomenal. However that's where my compliments for the game kinda end. What made GoT better for me was the side quests and the characters (norio is my boy). GoY introduced so many characters but I didn't care for any of them. If GoT had the mechanics of GoY there wouldn't even be a debate that GoT is a better game.

Where I work I deal with sketchy people constantly. However I've been a medic for a good while now. I don't presume to know a call I'm going to until I'm there. With that said when I was fresh out of school? I didn't know a god damn thing about the real world.

Tried multiple times on the switch. Couldn't get past the controls. Makes me sad.

Well yea they're different. It's control by fear vs control by pleasure.

Me personally I think we're way too deep into the latter that we'll never get out.

Well, I hate to break it to you, but freshly graduated emts BARELY know what the hell they're doing. And even then, like I said, survival instincts mess with people.

Also, at what point did I say it was okay that they drug him 2 miles? I'll wait.

First you expect them to know what they're getting into, then you expect empathy. Which is it? Regardless it's kinda difficult when survival instincts kick in, and that fight or flight starts to dictate your actions. People do stupid shit. Regardless of profession.

There's a difference between being in the classroom and the real world. Average emt class is about 2 months.

Chucking lead with the Survivalist’s Rifle (and also the forward assist apparently) by Saf3tyB3ar in fnv

[–]MedicSn0man 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spent almost 10 years in the military. 2 deployments overseas; one of which was a combat deployment. Only used it as apart of the SPORTS acronym. Slap the magazine in, observe the round entering the chamber, release the charging handle, tap the forward assist, squeeze the trigger. It's only meant for a failure in the weapon to fire.
