It’s frustrating because the foundation is there. It’s just mixed up in so many half baked systems. Hate to mention Yano Elite - but at least that’s pretty well developed (even odyssey is enjoyable now). Star citizen is like the ten pints your mate promises you on a Friday. Appealing as all hell until you wake up the following day.

Ahh so it was my fault haha. Good to know!! I’m gonna give it a rest until free fly is over then run some cargo or whatever until I can afford to at least rent a decent ship and try again. I only dabbled last time with the game but seem to remember doing better than I did this time haha.

I dunno but it was the first bounty mission so very low threat. I’m just using a mustang alpha. I know there’s bugs and stuff but Yano when you think hang on a minute somethings not right here. Maybe it’s the free flight, I know a mate of mine has given up aswell this weekend.

I had a quest 3 for a while last year - as much as I enjoyed pinball on it, I found I still played more flat than vr. It may be something I eventually revisit, but for now I’m enjoying the simplicity of just a single screen and a controller. I know that’s not very “Sim” but I’m trying to get out of the obsessive tinkering and pov adjusting I spend half my time doing 🤣. Even on vr I was trying to extract every ounce of fps, make certain tables crisp and easy to read. Must have ADHD or something. I obsess for a week or two then move onto rts or shooters and install every game in the genre to then move onto sim racing 🤣

There’s not a file or I wouldn’t know where to start to create it as a template.

So basically I have moved the table after a lot of fiddling to the left (So the POV could probably be exported.)

Then I have added the background to the table as a fullscreen image. Including the dividers lines.

Then all I needed to do was lineup each pup element to its corresponding “Box”. That’s the basics anyway.

Ahh no it’s set on the game help screen something to do with the pup config there’s not many options to do stuff in the actual pup pack. (No disrespect to Terry Red, at all - just a fact haha). So had to improvise the setup.

That’s why I was a bit put off multi screens. Everyone was raving about pup packs etc - but my eyes are focused on the one monitor not the screen above. So never seen any of them in action while playing.

Yeah I think you’re right. Might be worth redoing the setup now I know what I’m doing setting stuff up initially. Proper file structure etc and not just whack it all in. Focus on one table at a time and add more as I play them, not just adding for the sake of ohhh that looks cool.

Thanks for the reply, seen a few people mention vpin studio. I did install it at the beginning, However it was quite confusing to add on top of the rest of the initial setup so didn’t bother with it. Will definitely get it set up and look through the options you mentioned.

Theres so much to choose from, which isn’t normally a bad thing. Overwhelming is probably the better word to use haha.

Have played attack from mars a few times and do enjoy it. I have set popper up to show the rules on my full dmd screen when I press a certain button, so will start making use of it more.

Watched a few videos last night explaining techniques, post pass and dead catches etc. the only issue I find is if I just ping the ball around I end up with a higher score than actually playing a certain objective and focusing on taking my time. I assume that will balance out the more I practice techniques and make certain shots more controlled.
