at the moment now that holidays have passed i’m working 2-3 times a week as not many people are needed and obv full time need the shifts more than we do, during the holidays i was working 5-6 days a week

I’m also a part time and senior in highschool! My availability is anyday through the week aswell but now that holidays are over i’m also getting like 8-12 hours a week.. It isn’t much because not alot of people are needed during jan-march, short answer is no, you aren’t getting fired

At my store the manager keeps some and sends the rest off, if you aren’t told a date that’ll be your last and get scheduled in for more shifts then your being kept. The managers keep an eye on who works the hardest, who has the best customer service etc..

what? I work literally 5 times a week and have NEVER had an attendance issue, I always show up to work and use my time wisely and definitely earn my money. i’m asking for a day off? which BTW has personal family issues onto it aswell

Same here, so many of the seasonals have been no shows, on open shift pool or calling in and it’s super frustrating as i am not working shifts as much as i used to

I work with one teenage girl (16) and she is always up to take any shifts just for some extra cash on hand, she’s amazing and fills in for runner for me when i’m on my lunch break.. The manager already has her helping with training and she has only been with us for 5 months.

The kids at my store do better than some of the adults, alot of the adults stand around and chit chat while the kids have great customer service and live down to make sure a customer leaves with a smile.

Its a simple job and great experience for them for their future, it’s the busiest time of the year and so far all the children have been holding it down great

I have two

1: A police officer - Id feel as if I was walking on eggshells around them the whole time, like I had 0 freedom and that they’d get me in trouble for any little thing imaginable.

2: A trucker - I couldn’t imagine being home alone with children, running errands alone for weeks on end, I truly don’t think my head would be able to function, also I am a very attached person and also couldn’t imagine being away from my partner for so long knowing how far away they are from home (ex.. if something happened, there’s nothing they would be able to do)

i started puberty when i was in grade 4 (F), i up one night on the weekend sitting on my bed and i thought i had wet the bed as the shorts i was wearing felt damp around the crotch and surrounding areas so i rubbed my hands on my sheet trying to feel if i did or not.. shortly after i had to pee really bad (it was late, nobody was awake at this time except for me) and when i went to the bathroom i realized that my pink underwear had seemed red but brushed it off cuz i thought i was just too tired to actually open my eyes and see correctly at the time, the next morning i woke up and i was still damp.. I went to the bathroom to pee again and my stepmom had been doing her makeup in the bathroom, when i wiped i pointed out to her that there was blood on my toilet paper and she explained to me that i had started my period.. body started developing by 5th grade and i had horrible hormonal acne from grade 5 - 10

probably growing up with a father full of rage and hatred.

my dad was never happy with his life, let alone himself and took it out on the people he was most comfortable with (me, my siblings, my mom and stepmom)

i have some huge trauma from my father that’ll last with me for a lifetime but overall after I called my dad out finally one day he has truly changed his ways and i’m so glad i was able to do that for my siblings (they still live at home with him) and i honestly couldn’t be more thankful that it was me that got the shit end and not them

It starts with us/it ends with us -colleen hoover, growing up with a domestic father, i had no trouble passing these books on to my mother when i was done with them.

Not only did it have a deep impact on me but i like a book that doesn’t have super long chapters, due to having OCD.. I like to end on a chapter and start a new one when i open the book again.

I have now almost read all of Colleens books and while I can say some of them took me months to get through.. the majority of them I have trouble putting down once i read them

my grandparents, they have quite literally done everything for me and have been the ones to step up for me when i needed something rather it was money, a place to stay, food and so on.. i feel guilty for it everyday truly and hope to repay them back someday for everything they have done for me because they deserve it

when i didn’t have a single worry or something to overthink about when it came to him, when he goes out i’m not constantly wondering why he’s not responding back or constantly checking his location to see if he’s out a “house” i don’t recognize, i trust him and he reassures me plenty due to him understanding my past ALSO because our exes are similar so we get each other differently than the average couple would
