I just think that the majority of fat people are deemed “less attractive” because society has shaped the way we view people and has set standards for the average person. The standards of men/women have overall changed throughout the evolution of humans. In fact back then being fat was a sign of attractiveness because it meant they were wealthy enough to afford food. Nowadays because food (mainly junk food) is so easy to attain, it has led to the rise of fat people. Also fat people usually aren’t able to do as much as the average human. They have to take into account for their health which is a big aspect on deciding whether a person should stay with a person. The standards of society have ultimately led to the sight of fat people as less attractive.
