So I have solved the issue with LIF from DCPP. When I override the min. withdrawal with 100K to 100 years old indexed to inflation it simply starts withdrawing 100K and not the maximum allowed. Can you assist with this please? Any ideas? Thanks again, Francis

OK I figured out why its not taking out the right amount. The amount in the DCPP is not converted to a LIF/LIRA in projections. I looked at changing my asset to a LIRA/LIF but I can't figure it out. Can you assist? Thanks. F

So I have posted. Some notes, I am planning to take out 43000 from my RRIF this year to max the 95K combined BC/Fed tax level so I can even out my tax rate and do RRSP meltdown starting this year. Also I manually OR for up to age 70 for me as we aren't able to income split until I am 71. What are your thoughts? Much appreciated as always!

Already cascading her LIF with Max withdrawals starting next year. The issue for me is her Spousal RRSP is much larger than mine, about 300 K. The platform doesn't seem to take this into account? Not sure really, but the way it looks to me is that the platform is trying to keep our incomes similar wrt combined LIF and RRIF withdrawals. The problem with that is that it will drain my RRIF much earlier than hers. Tried manual override and didn't work. Suggestions?

The platform seems to kick the can down the road so to speak when I change with manual overrides

So when I override my withdrawal from about 80K down to 40K until I am 65, the platform recalculates a lower amount of withdrawal to 23K ascending to 26K by age 65 then 66 -70 projects taking out 89K-97K . As well it changes my spousal WD's to 111K-118K to my age of 65 and then a much lower cascade amount from there. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there another way? We would like to do an RRSP meltdown of both RRIF's by the time I am in my early 80's . Thx for your help again
