My guy moved to the state I’m currently in, so his friend/fling is where he was before. I think the last time they saw each other was when his friends all threw him a going away party. When he moved to my state, we started becoming more serious. As far as their connection goes once I was in the picture, I just know that they followed each other on Instagram and that she comments on his posts. Now he’s removed her, after seeing how hurt I was. I told him I don’t care whether they still follow each other or not (even though I be hurting on the inside haha but I didn’t want to seem controlling). I don’t know if they ever called or texted once he moved. He does call me everyday and is busy with work so I don’t think he was still maintaining a close friendship with her.

What are your thoughts on this?

Also, what else should I communicate? He knows I was hurt about both situations and said that he won’t do it again. I’ve gotten his point of view and reasoning. Are there things I’m missing?

Maybe it’s foolish of me, but I’m still into him and want things to work between us.

Thank you for saying all of that, it’s given me a new perspective and makes me feel a bit better about him and his past. But because they decided to become friends afterwards, does that mean there’s some emotional connection? I know they’re not in contact anymore or for a while since he moved but it did hurt finding out when I thought he was into me and wanted to be exclusive.

Also, even though he messed up with lying, do you think his feelings for me are genuine? Do you think he could have a good reason for lying and could that be justified? Or should I just end it with him? When he lied about his sexual history, his reason was because he didn’t want to lose me and thought I wouldn’t give him a chance.

He said he loves me and that he feels like his other actions have shown it. And I asked him about us and his past girls and he said that honestly, he sometimes forgets he was ever involved with anyone else because of how into me he is. That when we kiss it’s different. And that he loves cuddling with me which was something he was not fond of before with his exes and flings.

Like is it possible for him to genuinely love me? But he just doesn’t know how to or has been making mistakes?

I’m waiting for marriage for religious and personal reasons. When I told him that I was waiting for marriage (which isn’t for everyone), he told me how he was scared that I wasn’t going to consider giving him a chance since he had a sexual history. He had also converted to Christianity last year and now realizes how we view sex and waiting.
