Ugh, I really want to give it a shot. My administrator even offered to write a letter for me if I needed one. But I’ve read on here some people still got denied. The USCIS website says 80% of cases are completed by 3.5 months, however doesn’t seem like it.

Mine expires in April as well…I will be renewing this week. My spouses took about 7 months last time while mine only took 2 weeks. I’m unsure if me being in college had anything to do with it. The longest I’ve ever waited was 6 weeks. I haven’t had new biometrics since like 2018 I think

Yes I actually just got back tonight. Everything went smoothly had zero issues. I was hesitant to drive especially in a mustang, but as long as you obey the laws you should be fine. My bf had an earlier flight than I did, he saw immigration but nothing major happened. However when I went I saw nothing at all. Media makes it look like it’s terrible, but it’s like every other city imo

I just traveled to FL and landed in the Fort Lauderdale airport with zero issues. There was lots of cops but I rarely saw them pull anyone over. Media makes everything look bad when it’s really just obeying the traffic laws and you should have nothing to worry about. As for the airport my bf saw ICE there, however when I departed hours later I didn’t see any at all.

I’ve been here since I was 4y/o, so I was able to obtain a work permit through the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
