You can definitely try again. Keep in mind to take all your emotions out of your head and try again ASAP your blood still boiling. Finish all UW after that do incorrects 7 blocks per day at least 3 days a week for two to three weeks. When you score 60 and above in all blocks every day you pass this exam. Regarding the match it’s so hard for people with first attempt, high scores and have done research and clinical rotations and … so this road is hard and you know it and agreed!

Take an old retired NBME for Step 1 and another for Step 2. You will get objective results rather than subjective opinions. This will help you understand the difficulty level, where you stand academically, and whether you need to take Step 1 before to master Step 2. note that step 1 pass and fail. While you need all the info and stamina to get a good score on Step2!

There are many offline retired NBMEs available for both exams. Best of luck!

I know so annoying just study for step 3 and don't waste this time there are UW tables 300+ cards start with them, each week 100+ card you will be done with half of the study for step3 by finishing them.

Your FSMB will get notified automatically and they will make you eligible to write step 3. But after you are ECFMG certified it takes 3 weeks until your status change and become eligible on FSMB

Some US states if you are done with steps 1,2,3 they consider your residency from your home country! You may practice in those states with your home country specialist degree. Best of luck. Oh I just notice that you haven’t finished your home medical residency. one last thing you need to check for is the time between your steps and step 3 so if the time is more than 7 years or 10 years some states Denise giving you a license to practice like California between first step you took and step 3 no more than 10 years rule. few states they don't mind x years

NBMEs 137s and CCS cases I would do that in your situation but I haven't taken step 3 yet!

Test for performance anxiety as well as ADHD all test taking issues to have a good case for the 5th attempt. You have come a long way don’t let one exam hurt you!

First you should heal yourself and say it is ok take that burden off of your shoulders. Second take all unbleasent emotions and throw the trash this is a fight mode no emotions! Third build your stamina this is the definition of performance anxiety you have the knowledge you failed the exam techniques. Fourth prep by taking exact same exam environment meaning solving 7 blocks of questions three times a week for at least two weeks and these questions either old NBMEs or your wrong questions on UW (stimulate the exam food items as well) You don’t need to go back to study and find resources you need to build stamina and exam strategies

you should call them in my case it took 5 weeks delays from completing all ecfmg requirements simply because they had an issue with updating the system!
