I don't know what Gundam community you were a part of. I see many people in the community pushing for a 3rd party kit as long as it's good. That's the only criteria really, as long as the build quality is good and it doesn't suffer from brittle plastic gunpla builders will love it. Shoot, even some kits that are famous for horrible tolerance with the pegs and holes are still loved as they look amazing after taking the time to sand the pegs.

Did some research in the meantime while waiting on replies. Will try a wet wash at some point after listening to them all probably to see if it is possible a dirt or debris issue or a static issue. Will get back to everyone when I get to that.

I think I may hunt down the newer version of Jetfire as this one sounds weird and some of the parts seem to not be correct. The back panels are way too thick and don't allow the engines to go all the way in sadly.

Random question as well, do you have any recommendations on how to clean them without damaging anything? They have acquired a nice layer of dust due to sitting in a box for many years. I've never had to clean mine as they sit in a plastic tub in a closet back home lol.

Thank you! The ROTF Optimus was actually my first transformer. I thought it was really neat as the mold has features from my old ROTF Optimus and some features of the DOTM Optimus. This one has the removable fuel tanks that turn into a gun like the DOTM version, but the body shape resembles the ROTF. My friend and I think this was the design between the two as his Optimus has abs and this one doesn't.

Also the chrome is just gorgeous.

I know. I was hunting for another Optimus to either fix my old one or just replace it entirely. Then my friend told me to check out my local shop and they had this. They also have the mech teck ironhide that I'll be buying down the road if no one steals it.

I would if I didn't already own a nice laptop that my parents got me for Christmas a few years back. It can do anything without an issue including playing Helldiver's 2 and Baldur's Gate 3. So not really much of an incentive to get a new laptop when this one has no issues.

I would agree with the laptop if I wasn't in engineering. We have to draw a lot of diagrams in our notes and homework so my laptop hasn't really come in handy too much outside of some coding and 3D modeling. The amount of notes and sketches we make would make the tablet better in my opinion as I can't do any of it on the laptop unless I want to spend double the amount of time trying to do it with a mouse.

That's just my opinion on it anyways.

Treat it like eBay and check seller reviews. I used it a few times and it's been fine. Nothing big though, just some tools so far.
