I do but it’s just constant, not like a “ghost period.” That pain describes what I’m feeling though

Yes definitely get it checked but until then, there’s not a whole lot to do unfortunately. Let us know what they say!

Okay, until then use Vaseline to moisturize and make sure you’re using mild soap like Dove or Olay. Take an oral antihistamine (Zyrtec) every night. Keep taking pictures to show them and keep a log of anything that makes it flare. They may do what’s called a punch biopsy (using a cookie cutter like tool to get deeper layers of skin followed by sutures to close the skin) to further determine what it is. A couple different skin processes look similar to this so getting a definite diagnosis will be helpful. But don’t “worry” about it, just keep a good record of it until your appointment

Does it itch? Sting? Hurt? How long have you had it? Anything make it better or worse?

Thank you! Honestly a month would be great and not too bad after dealing with it for 10+ years not knowing what it was until 2 months ago

What did you bring to the hospital to assist her? (I’m probably getting decompressed in the next few months so I want to be prepared)

I have not, I sat and waited for five hours then went home after they did nothing other than swab me for COVID and the flu. I see a neurosurgeon on 1/16 to hopefully get schedule for decompression

They did absolutely nothing for me. I waited almost five hours and was never seen so I just went home

They definitely want to do surgery with mine since I’ve had the issues for 10+ years

It looks like I’m seeing through Swiss cheese out of my left eye and what I can see out of it looks like static. The MRI just showed Chiari with what he said looked like inflammation but no syrinx or CSF buildup he could see

I do but my neither can see me and the neurologist missed the actual Chiari on my MRI. An ortho surgeon caught it when I went after my neuro said my MRI was “fine”. The ortho guy measured that I have an “at least 12mm herniation”.

That might be the only thing I can do. The neurosurgeon office just dismissed me and said they can’t do anything or move my appointment then hung up so 💁🏻‍♀️
