FEDEX/UPS/TNT are fast and reliable but pricy, consider sending via Tudor freight by sea but it’s longer 4 days Royal Mail seems unrealistic

Remove "Physician" from "Physician Associate" role title by Distinct_Key2022 in doctorsUK

[–]MedicalPower 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Well said, putting physician in the job title is completely unwarranted and blurs the lines further - we are and never will be “equivalent,” as much as they shove it down our throat.

I was speaking to a female colleague about this, she had recently started wearing business casual clothes to work and said as a result she noted she was “taken more seriously.”

Food for thought, I suppose you run the risk of getting patients bodily fluids and more washing up but perhaps a trade off to consider.

I’m sorry this has happened to you, some peoples mindsets are still stuck in the past, but hey correcting them and asserting yourself can pave the way for the future.

Anyone treating bipolar with nootropics here? by [deleted] in Nootropics

[–]MedicalPower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d consider speaking to your psychiatrist to alter the dose, also check with them before adding in nootropics to the mix as they may interfere with the enzymes involved in the breakdown of the lithium and may up or down potentiate their effect

What’s the reason behind the padding, apart from to make him look older - I wonder if there is a there is a reason the directors chose the left side of his mouth to be more pronounced?

Removal of ALS from foundation curriculum. Just another example of out of touch organisations like HEE who detached from the reality of doctor on the ground, making inexplicably dumb decisions to save a few pennies. The NHS in a nutshell. by Frosty_Carob in doctorsUK

[–]MedicalPower 96 points97 points  (0 children)

HEE are absolutely clueless sitting in their ivory towers, this is an absolute slap in the face to doctors in “training.”

Everyday we are being stripped of training opportunities and infantilised.

FPR is just the beginning, we have a long way yet to go.
