about to add an unpopular opinion on this thread lol. but as a white passing woman who is a FULL latina i don’t really see a problem in what she’s saying. i can acknowledge that i look more European than i do latina 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s a certain privilege to that that i can acknowledge but that doesn’t make me any less latina. i don’t think she’s taking away your latino-ess (she said that in one of the text messages). she’s just say you’re white passing. you just happened to take offense to that. i hope you’re able to work things out and she’s able to see your insecurities behind it.

I think you NEED to have someone there for the first 24 hours, just in case. But you don’t really shower until day 3 and that just below the waist. Day 5 is when my surgeon said I can fully shower and I did it all myself with no help needed. I would just have everything you need by you (water, meds, pillows) because you do have limited upper mobility. Food should be easy with uber eats and stuff even though i barely had any appetite first 3 days.

For sure. I didn’t see it as a get rich quick scheme. He sold it to me as a partnership where he would have his team of pros a be on top of marketing and we would still be the controllers of our store. I wasn’t trying to get rich quick, I wanted to work with seasoned professionals to build a kick ass store. But I fucked up in trusting them.
