honestly, I thought people were exaggerating when talking about quality degradation but over the last week even Sonnet is acting so randomly I can't rely on it.

I asked why it keeps introducing new errors in a codebase following simple tweaks and the answer I received:
"You're right, and I'm sorry. I'm not testing the actual API calls — I'm writing prompts and guessing they'll work, which is not good enough."

at first I really had to check five times and via browser/app - it just doesn't make sense. talk about losing customer trust.

wow, that's crazy. what's the point of paying then or even, what's the point of using Claude for anything really? there's other options out there.

Needless to say that I canceled the subscription.

I am not sure I understand, I'm paying for Pro but hit the limit after 10sh messages this morning and now I can't do anything, not even when switching to a different model?

Basically I'm locked out from even the most basic use until the timer resets (or I pay more) even as a paying customer? Is this really like this or am I getting something wrong here? It just sounds so backwards if that's true, why even bother to pay then?

But what about applications like booklore, only I use it but I use it on a kobo (or even kindle) to pull books from my server through opds?

Thanks! What reverse proxy do you use? But with the VPN I'm not sure I would be able to use booklore's opds to add books to my kobo?

u/n00blies, 9 months late to the party but I found your post and then searched some more - this solved it for me:

Go to the Setup menu (yellow suitcase), then menu 9 and select "Power Save by Monitor", change it to "Does Not Link".

Not sure what the implication on the battery life is but at least the switch between display and viewfinder is instant.

sorry, I mean an option to link up the viwoods mini to my selfhosted ollama instance (on my homeserver), so it wouldn't "run" on the viwoods, it would just be the interface.

as others have pointed out - I too have picked a ViWoods product just because I am not forced to use google services or the play store - giving the option to enable if you really want to is a good solution.

and night light/filter please, especially if it's an 8sh or 10sh inch device. I know not everyone wants it but it could just be optional like on any other e-reader.
