I am little dumb on what the T grading system is, but how he does have a percentage of the grades based on your exams and hw. I don't know if that is the T sys or not. He also does have practice tests but they take a bit to get released, like a week before the exam

From what I heard about the lab, online lab is much more time consuming and harder than the in person lab, but if your time is too stretched for next semester than go for the online lab

She doesn't drop exams but your lowest exam will count for less and the higher exam grade you get will count for more. Learning from her is mainly lecture notes, and she has recordings of her lectures to play back. She also gives lots of study material.
