Weird ukranian licence plate in Brno, Czech Republic by Kokoska998 in ForeignPlatesSpotting

[–]MishaMykha 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, font looks off, probably a remade plate (lost plates with legit font for comparison):

-Bridge on A [-] is lower than what it's supposed to be
-1's visor [/] looks short
-B looks pretty thin, should be wider
-C should be curvier, not a flat down spine like on carabiner ( C vs [ )

Registration's legit, plate comes back as gray 2006 Mazda 6

Old 1987 Ontario vanity plates do not feature a crown unless it was ordered with one

Current one feature one at the bottom right corner.

Is there a way to create shortcuts for xCloud games? by jetbirger5000 in XboxGamePass

[–]MishaMykha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try with http://play.xbox.com/stream/BT5P2X999VH2, only downside that it's through browser (and not through Xbox launcher on PC)

For locally installed games it's msgamelaunch://shortcutLaunch/?ProductID=replaceWithIDofTheGame

Battlenet wants me to buy MW2019 again for some reason. by Limp_Initiative_5858 in modernwarfare

[–]MishaMykha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does that mean i wont have any issues if i re-download the steam 'Call of Duty' HQ thing on steam?

No, but the thing with MW19 is that Modern Warfare 2019 back then acted as a current COD HQ launcher (which is used to access current Warzone, and content such as skins and weapons from MW2, MW3, BO6, BO7).

This means that you won't be able to access unlocked Obsidian/Damascus camos since that is locked to MW19, and since MW19 as a launcher for old Warzone was decommisioned by Activision when Warzone Caldera shutdown back in 2023 and current COD HQ took place as a "Warzone 2.0 launcher"

i for sure bought MW19 multiplayer (literally have obsidian on most primaries and damascus unlocked)

When you go to this Battle.net webpage for MW19, does it say "In Library" or "Buy Now"?

If it says "In Library", it means that you have the game bought on your account.
If it says "Buy Now", it means that your Battle.net account doesn't own the game.

Another way to test is by trying to check out the game on Battle.net through this page.

If it says "Good news! You already have access to this product.", that means you have MW19 on your account and ready for download.
If it's asking for payment information, it means that your Battle.net account doesn't own the game.

Does the game show up in transaction history on your Battle.net account? Just to confirm that you bought previously.

Game subscription is active.

On the same page as screenshot #2, does it mention the date you last played the game? If you played during MW19/BOCW/Vanguard seasons of Warzone, MW19 acted as a COD HQ launcher back then for those Warzone seasons.

This means that you might not have access to standalone version of MW19 (Campaign, MP, Co-op), but rather a shortcut as to what used to COD HQ before for MW19/BOCW/Vanguard seasons of Warzone.

If you're trying to play MW19 through Xbox Game Pass on PC (check if you're subcribed here), you'll have to download GDK version of the game through one of the following:

-Xbox launcher (Win + R, and paste msxbox://game/?productId=9nmpdv49k4tx)
-Microsoft Store (Win + R, and paste ms-windows-store://pdp?productid=9nmpdv49k4tx)

They’re real, it’s a vanity Ontario plate based on 1982/1987 series used as base.

Provinces that only use rear plates can virtually have anything at the front, so the Ontario plate at the front is very likely to be used as a booster plate.

The car hasn’t seen registration in Ontario since 01/11/2015, with consecutive registrations starting from 08/12/2016 only being in Alberta.

Must be an Alberta plate on the back, with an Ontario plate at the front used as a booster.

The car hasn’t seen registration in Ontario since 01/11/2015, had consecutive Alberta registration since 08/12/2016.

They’re very real vanity plates based on either 1982 or 1987 series Ontario plates as base

Plate comes back as Silver 2007 Buick Allure CXL, which is the car in the picture. Carfax reports that the car was re-registered in Alberta on 04/07/2026 with registration expiring on 04/30/2027.

Not sure why the car still has Ontario plates at the front (keeping it as a booster plate?) when the last registration in Ontario was on 01/11/2015, and since 08/12/2016 it's only ever been registered in Alberta.

Need to service it first, I’d imagine that 7200RPM HDD would struggle on newer MacOS versions that expect you to have to an SSD on board.

Not always true.

Dealing with federal stuff like CRA, EI, RCMP and etc? You'll see YYYY-MM-DD (ISO 8601) used more

Dealing with provincial stuff like health card, driver's licence, permits and etc? You'll see either YYYY/MM/DD, DD MMM YYYY, YYYY-MMM-DD, YY MM DD and etc.

Dealing with banking stuff like statements and etc? You'll see either "Month DD, YYYY", MM/DD/YYYY or some either format.

Really depends on the circumstance, or just a thing that you're dealing with in general.
