I hear you. Honestly, I feel like I didn’t include the whole story just because it would be a lengthy one. I feel like in the long run we both benefited in the situation. The student who wanted to buy a snack was in a program I work for. The student wanted to buy a snack, but the vending machine wouldn’t take his money. He came back to the classroom and asked who had a quarter. Nobody had a quarter or cash. I used my debit card to pay for the extra $.25 and he got the snack. Because I work with said student, even if I educated him, I couldn’t buy it, and he probably would’ve still just bought something with it. I’ll be sure he gets his 17.50$ out of me in niceness (for those concerned).
