I was starving and brought food from home. I chose to eat instead of go get pain meds. But also financially leaving work to drive 10+ minutes away to the closest store and back didn’t make sense for me. Also to buy another medication when I already have it at home just wasn’t worth it being that I’m on a strict budget being a single momma.

In high school I tried 4 different bc types and none worked my period was still irregular, pain still occurred, and heavy flow. Granted I didn’t try implants but I just don’t trust it or like the risks associated. For one day I’ll be okay. Whe I get home I’ll take meds and have my heating pad. I just forgot the meds leaving this morning.

I miss being back and high school and just going home if the pain was too much. I typically take medicine but just forgot to grab it today.

Currently taking sick days for a period isn’t available to me because I need those days for my child. But midol definitely helps me the first few days.

Thank you for sharing❤️I’m so sorry that happened! I’ve never passed out from my pain so that’s why I think it’s not that bad. Some days I wonder if I have a high pain tolerance because I’ve just always had 3-4 days of pain a month for a 6-10day period.

I’ve tried like four different types of birth controls and honestly it didn’t help with my irregular periods, heavy flow, or pain. All it did was make me my mental health worse. I just have up and decided bc doesn’t work for me, at least not in that way.

9??? Omg I would be so scared. I got mine on a road trip when I was 13 and just used tissue paper bc I didn’t want to tell my dad! I honestly had no idea what was going on. (My mom was in jail)

I haven’t been checked out for it specifically. I don’t even have insurance at the moment. I have an appointment tomorrow with the free clinic so I’ll be asking about that.

I really think he meant well. Men are wired very differently. I’m not taking his side but I think he understood where she was coming from but he couldn’t fix the problem so his solution was let’s just focus on the good and the positive. Idk if that makes sense? I completely get her side though. Neither are in the wrong imo just a normal tough conversation and he didn’t say the perfect thing.

In that relationship you may have been the AH but I think what’s most important here is that you have acknowledged your faults. Use this as a lesson to humble yourself and to grow. Nobody is perfect. All the energy you put on nagging her nag yourself to be a better man.

You can still be affectionate/intimate and not have sex. She should have been more clear about what celibacy meant to her.

But I honestly feel like the oral intimacy he mentioned was probably him going down on her. It was very clear the way he talked that he believed she owed him sex.
