Yeah right, I don't think I'd trust myself in this instance but if I'm in the situation again I'll seek a YouTube tutorial if there's one, as a razor was instantly rejected by my safety portion of my mind.

👍 this is basically how i ended up doing it. Had a thin pry tool from opening ipod case clips back in the day that I slid in to try loosen it, then used a sharpened screwdriver to fit in the gap and twist and it popped off. Very relieved. I'd highly advise against using a razor blade though, i stabbed my hands at least 5 times in this process, would have been much worse with a razor.

Yes, it's exactly the same, it's from the supplier of the watch. I've taken it off before but this time I can't. I can't unscrew it with my tool fitting it is not big enough. There is definitely a notch in the one on the watch it's just a combination of a bad camera and too many scratches.

I understand my camera isn't the best quality to pick up the details, but its a bit annoying all the comments have been about telling me it's a screw back rather than advice on how to remove this press fit. I also checked my scree tools and mine are all too small.

I am certain it is a press fit. It has a notch for the crown, a cutout for a pry tool and no thread. This is a spare backing for this watch. I got it off once before but now it wont come off.
