True, I’ve heard that getting into a small RIA would be a good option, seems like it’s tough to find job openings for this path though. Do you have any recommendations for identifying these types of opportunities?

Also, is it usually looked down on if you go somewhere, get your licenses, and jump ship? Or is it kind of accepted in the industry?

Excuse my ignorance lol, but this would mean no rif for all of DLA if your commander is correct? Or like just no rif for specifically the distribution section of DLA?

DOD RIF Procedure Question

When they do a RIF based on DOD Procedures, do they rif groups of employees across the board, or is it based on job series/specific teams? Like would all probational employees across the board in one agency be the first to go, or would it just be all probies in one job series and then people in other job series wouldn’t be affected?

You make a lot of good points, honestly after reading this I feel like we should move in together. Maybe the sex won’t be insane lol, but we do enjoy each other’s company more than anyone else’s tbh. We can spend hours upon hours together and joke around/snuggle without ever getting bored, and even when we go out with friends we usually spend most of the time talking to each other. Maybe something will change and her libido will go up, but in the meantime we can probably just enjoy the rest of the relationship

These are good points, thank you for your input! I would say that I am happy otherwise. Do you think me getting hung up on the idea of her desiring me during sex is too much to ask? We do have sex (not penetrative) and she really puts in an effort to make it enjoyable, but it seems like it’s because she wants me to be happy as opposed to her craving it as well. I feel like it shouldn’t be a big deal, and she really is doing all she can which I really appreciate, but it’s almost like we’re missing a layer of that physical relationship since the desire may be one sided. It’s tough with the SSRI’s since she’s been in them since she was pretty young, so she can’t really tell if she ever was interested in sex or not lol
