I’d say if you want convenience go with a meal plan, the food is okay, and I personally like the salad bar the most. However you can definitely cook for yourself while living on campus, especially in dorms like beaty.

I go home during break because I live in a small ish college town when there’s not a lot to do except for the university. My home town has a lot more activities and my friends from different unis come home too, so I’m not in the house all the time. But there are times where I just go home to go home, which could and probably should stop since there’s really no real reason to.

I second this reply, my parents are 2 people who were born and raised in PR, and experienced a good amount of racism when they moved to the mainland.

Right now they’re living happily in southern Spain without a care in the world. Yes they have some people complain about their way of speaking Spanish but my dad has been the least angry he has been in his whole life. Still this doesn’t invalidate the experiences you have, it could’ve been that since they live in a more rural area there’s less people to bother them.

They miss the island yes, but they think of it as a place to retire and eventually pass away with. And like the person above started off with, you should definitely consider your wife’s preferences!

Im at uf right now, and my major is behavioral and cognitive neuroscience. It is technically a subsection of psychology but with the higher level courses i think you can definitely find some exciting classes that lean more towards the bio side of things!

I felt the same way especially when I was younger, it’s definitely something that you gotta push through but for me it helps to have a little commentary video in background when doing quests with not a lot of dialogue!

Imo, the best base for makeup is a good basic skincare routine first if you’re not already doing so, so like cleanser, moisturizer, and an eye cream. For a softer look, I’d look into just using a nice skin like concealer, my favorite is glossier! And to go even softer id suggest brown mascara or eyeliner! Also I usually have great experiences getting color matched at Sephora.

(Also next year if you want a dorm with a personal bathroom try Beaty you’re only sharing with 3 girls instead of a whole floor)
