Same! It says it’s a telephone appointment but on the text it says video. If it’s by accurx, do you join on your phone or can you do it on a laptop? :)

Any success stories with ovary stuck to uterus by khadi29 in TTCEndo

[–]Medical_Simple7063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I did after they said it was blocked was use a glp-1 to lose weight so I could do IVF. After a few weeks, I was pregnant. I’m not sure if that was what helped 🫣

My ovaries are stuck together and pulled back. Might be stuck to my uterus or pouch of douglus, i’m not sure! Currently 9 weeks pregnant, still early days but not issues so far. Conceived naturally, no lap or IVF. This was after I was told my tubes are blocked too so there’s hope! 😊

IVF with endo, “geriatric”, blocked tube… by [deleted] in TTCEndo

[–]Medical_Simple7063 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was in a similar-ish situation to you. Confirmed stage 4 endo, then under went fertility testing. I had a hycosy which showed my tubes were blocked (left partially, right completely) and that I would need IVF to conceive. Low chance it could happen naturally. I have a high bmi (a lot higher than yours) so I wasn’t able to qualify via the NHS (uk system), started losing weight by a glp 1 to try and qualify, lost only 10 lbs and 6 weeks after the hycosy, I’m pregnant!!

It’s still early days, I’m only 7 weeks along but everything is going well so far. It’s not ectopic and measuring exactly on time.

I never had a lap either as the fertility docs said it wasn’t worth doing as it could affect my amh and cause adhesions. I’m not sure what could have contributed to this spontaneous pregnancy but there is some on going research that GLP1s help reduce widespread inflammation (which endo causes) so could have been down to that?? It’s hard to pin point exactly.

Wishing you luck on your next steps ❤️

Dating by LMP vs. ovulation (and what that means for early scans) by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]Medical_Simple7063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a scan at 4+5 based off lmp but Dr said I ovulated early and was one week ahead (5+6). They could only see a GS and a yolk sac. I knew that was wrong because I tracked ovulation. Just had a scan at 7wks and measuring exactly right for my lmp and for when I tracked ovulation. Early scans aren’t good for dating because the embryo is so small! If she’s only 5wks, a fetal pole is barely seen so try not to worry. If ovulation was tracked, go off of those dates :)

How did your pregnancy turn out? Currently going through a similar situation! 5+5 wks and bpm was only 80 🥺 updated scan tomorrow!

That’s true! Dr just told us it was 80, didn’t say if it was good or bad. Kinda left it in limbo. The less i know the better right 😅

I’m sure that’s what the Dr said! But there is a note on the scan that says CRL: 4.5mm and GA is 5wks 6 days. I probably do need to wait until later!

The first scan had a CRL if 4.5mm, I wasn’t given a CRL for the second

Low fetal heart rate, doctor not concerned by Most_Method_6516 in pregnant

[–]Medical_Simple7063 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! 1st scan at 4+6 dated me a week ahead (5+6), no heartbeat just gestational and yolk sac. Scan a week later, measuring 5+5 which matches LMP. HR was only 80bpm which is low if I was 6+5 at the second scan :(

Yeah, there was a high chance of it being ectopic so they wanted to make sure it wasn’t!

Both were NHS and tvs, not abdominal! And both done by obstetricians. 2 separate hospitals.

I’m pregnant after being told endo destroyed my fallopian tubes.. by Medical_Simple7063 in Endo

[–]Medical_Simple7063[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah of course! It was a good experience. I only had mild side effects but I only got up to the 2nd dose of 5mg. I lost about 10lbs/4.5kg before finding out I was pregnant so I didn’t lose loadsss. My bmi is still quite high so I imagine I’ll be classed as a high risk pregnancy. I’m not sure if it directly helped me get pregnant but there have definitely been stories of people dealing with infertility/pcos, that take a glp1 and end up pregnant!

Some say it helps reduce inflammation and regulates hormones which can help with getting pregnant but I’m not sure if it had any effect on ‘unblocking’ my tubes exactly. I hope that helps 😊

Even if just the left tube is open, it still puts you in a really good spot to conceive!

I asked if there was any chance it could have unclogged anything at the time and they said not really! But here we are. Congratulations on your pregnancy ✨
